Your split second decision making in team fights is perfect. The techs. The use of your boops to disrupt the whole team, the way you take space, use your body as your shield for critical cooldowns (like blocking Ana's sleep dart for gengi blade) and the way you change between those kinds of micro playstyles so efficiently is honestly incredible.

Most ball mains use rollouts. This man improfs some good grapple out of spawn, that looks cool and calls it a rollout. Getting a 4k instead of a junktrap/sleep.

I think people overestimate Sombra's counter potential against Ball. unless you're a onetrick T500 Sombra a good enough Ball can deal with you. I think slows (not stuns, but specifically slows) as well as abilities that can hijack Ball's movement like Orisa's javelin spin or Zen kick combined with high burst and a hell of a lot of mistakes on the Ball's side is a bigger counter than a measley hack
I recently hit masters on Ball and with only around 75hrs in comp. I think there really is something special about Ball, bc at least for me that kinda skill doesn't transfer super well to other roles lmao. I'm like barely plat on supp and about to derank to silver on dps. playing Ball just feels like you're playing a whole different game (a far more fun one, at that)
I mean if he knows how to use controller ( is rusty ) then its gonna be easy for him just gonna take sometime warming up with the controller its not harder to play ball on controller
