These videos always have that constant underlying tension of "Oh that's a fun premise and video on it's own. I wonder how it's going to turn into something absolutely fucked."
Just realized that Gussy was making direct eye contact with the camera lense for the entirety of the final commercial. This sketch is beyond brilliant.
Thats because it was a joke. When people make comedy videos they tell jokes and the jokes are meant to make you laugh, so im not sure why you would need to point out the fact that it was a genuine laugh when no one wouldve thought it was ingenuous
I can’t tell because they didnt even bother linking anything to google pixel in the description and the whole video implies that the phone is so unpopular only one person actually owns one. Hopefully its an ad and they wont get sued😂
@@gleebybooer If it's not an ad, then it's pretty clear it's a parody, so I think they're safe legally regardless. The funny thing about this is that I don't know if something like this would actually be affective as an ad or not. Like it's making fun of the product, but it's clearly raising awareness for it to. It'd be hilarious if a company ran an ad campaign like this and their sales went way up.
@mikec2845 look at you little keyboard warrior. 😂 no original thoughts so you have to regurgitate my own . Okay little baby . You do your thing. 😂😭🤣 bye 👋
*Gussie. Gussy is when you have a bad case of gus. Just like the 60s activist is a hippie, since hippy is just another word for when you can't see your own ankles.
@BillyMadison-gn1zu Tyler Falbo is a renowned creative director/writer mastermind who specialises in the shock factor plot twist. He's responsible for some of the greatest plot twist in cinema history. Does 'Luke, I am your father' ring a bell? Ya...Tyler Falbo
@@BillyMadison-gn1zuhe wrote and directed Shutter Island, Fight Club, The Sixth Sense among many others. Pretty much if it has a crazy twist and came out in the last 20 years it was him
I blacked out for 5 minutes and now apparently I have 4 google pixels ordered. One for each of my family. I was upset at first until I realized how seamlessly they pair with google fi wireless which by the way for only $160 a month ($40 per person) grants us unlimited plus which allows unlimited data, unlimited hotspot tethering, data in over 100 locations and calling in over 50 location. Also with a nice bonus of 6 months of RU-vid premium included! This might sound like an ad, but for a family with a whole lotta freaking balls in the air. The google pixel fits us perfectly like that one chick who lost her shoe at the ball.
I usually think that this sort of intentionally-stammering character is wayyyy overdone, but she freaking nails it. Delivers it in a way that's extremely consistent and believable
Royce Dupont strikes again with advertising genius. Making an anti commercial for the Google Pixel so nobody buys one, thus driving up Iphone sales! The Dupont method works!
No this is PASSION. Du Pont is a genius who sees BRILLIANCE when he lets his artistic side out instead of the autistic. When he combines the two... Well he buys the whole world the day that comes 🥶🥶🥶
I too am a proud pixel owner. The ironic thing is if theyre having an issue (i.e.) power buttons stuck, you just gotta smash the power button against a desk and itll fix the issue. These phones can handle tough love. I've had 3 pixel 3s and its the perfect phone for me. Theyre super cheap and do everything I need of them. Imagine paying $1200 for an over priced, made to break, iphone.
@@HollyHargreavesyeah alright, poor choice of words but you know what i mean. you can call it internalized misogyny or some shit i suppose, but i really just meant that they gave her the opportunity to do an entire sketch centered around her character, for which she wrote the lines and all that. alright, am i in the clear or do i need two more pages of virtue signalling?
I love you guys and have watched a ton of your videos recently. Let me just say, this one is particularly good. Eilise;s character is so well done. The basketball being thrown in is hilarious.
Seriously. Most sketch comedy just fizzles out after it exhausts the premise (looking at you, SNL). These guys (and gal) hit home runs when you're not expecting it.
What the actual hell is this channel!?!? Oh my, this is better writing and better acting than most of the stuff that's come out in the last 10 years from major studios. I'm hooked on this now. What genre even is this? This [it starts off as an innocuous comedy skit but then slowly transitions to the deepest psychological thriller] thing.
You guys are always my inspiration for both being artistic and comedic, I hope I find a spot in my life soon where I can squeeze in some motivation. You guys are so much fun and I can tell you have so much fun doing these skits! 🎉
