Well if you ever picked up a pinecone racing rulebook you'll know that because Carson was in a 5+ year relationship with Jessica common law states that the land is now accessible to him. There was a similar case back in the 80s but no one seems to remember that... How convenient
it only hit me a majority of the way through that the joke is they're all ignoring the girls actual murder, i was genuinely that invested in the cone race
@_Nonines did u see the pic of old boy at the finish line? His shirt was covered in blood lol. It's all a set up to the dad's "I trusted him" and u think he about to say he killed my baby girl, but nah he says "he cheated".
These are normal Northern Itlians? I went to Abner Farm on the outskirts of Napali Valley last summer with my family. The Pinecone Races are damn near more important than Easter Sunday, paisano.
Okay looking at google maps, in northern Italy, Mount Panshaw corresponds with Mont Blanc, Wetlands corresponds with Vercelli, and Abner Farm with Pavia. Sidenote; Briarcliff Flats is a funny name
Well no one saw him float his cone, which would have required him to pass a sap station, and no one saw him using Briarcliff, a clearly popular route that would have been filled with competitors and, no doubt, numerous spectators. Are you really suggesting that he went ALL THE WAY up through Oakwood and Madison Meadows? AND didn't get seen there either???
@@razo1289 i had a word with the officials at SS-14, im smelling that one of the officers was involved. This all might be a part of the bigger conspiracy.
@@libra. Questioning the integrity of the officials is questioning the legitimacy of the entire sport! As a true lover of the sport (which, perhaps you need reminding, is bigger than just Carson Moore) I won't give the time of day to conespiracy theories that serve no purpose but to damage pinecone racing.
An underrated detail is the needless diversions to pad time (like the random anecdote about Ray and Tommy); very much in the vein of a contemporary true crime doc
@@Abraham-Kaykski-Steinberg To be honest, I don't know. There's just so many alternative posibilities here, but the most important thing to me is.. if Carson didn't float through the Chatahooche Straits, then why is there a picture of him getting out of it? Are you telling me he went through the Wetlands, Abner Farm, Madison Meadows, then traversed the rocky mountains to get upstream? Just to prove he didn't cheat? Personally, I think the simplest solution is that Carson was a genius to figure out that the rapids were the quickest and simplest route, and that Annabelle might've just not spotted him cause she was busy staring at her phone or something. But hey.. I guess it's possible he cheated. Who knows besides him?
@@official_alphabet_inc Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I am wondering do you by any chance know if there is pinecone racing in Montana? I want to get into the sport, but I've never heard of this sport before (I don't socialize much). I already bought the broom and hiked 75 miles to get my pinecone. Thanks in advance!
Here's what happened: Carson wanted to cut through private land to win. However, Jessica was mad at him for over-reacting during the party before. So, she went back on their previous agreement and told Carson he wasn't allowed to pass through her pa's farm. This made Carson extremely mad, and he silenced her and cut through anyways. I hope the PPA disqualifies him for this.
Daggum this was one of the most original ones from you all yet. You guys really never miss! The whole production of this was awesome! Can't pick a favorite performance, everyone sold it. The framing, grading, and lighting was all great - felt like a real mini-documentary. Didn't know pinecone racing was something I needed in my life til now.
@@kiplingbotta4927 lmaoooooo ik brotha ima longtime fan of the series😂I was expecting a bigger reaction from Graeme but I understand the shock of course
the depth of your concepts are so mind blowing, like 3-4 levels of inception deep every time. the story is silly yes, but the creativity nonetheless, well done
Wow the pony tail guy is hilarious (Graeme Barrett) he has a RU-vid channel that is criminally underrated and under-viewed. Makes great comedy. So original. I’m very glad to see you collaborated with him!! I’m one of his OG viewers. Never expected to see him with you guys!
One of your most creative sketches yet. I absolutely cannot wait to see the reactions of people who clicked on this in their recommended, thinking it was a real true crime documentary.
By this time next year I expect to see multiple deals and sponsorships. The editing is second to none. Better than the last 20 years of History Channel.
Supposedly Mark Cuban already funds all this so they don’t really need deals or sponsorships, but tbh they might already have them, just as product placement rather than whole ad spiels
Holy smokes I just had a weird thought the other day about Graeme collaborating with this channel last night. I take full credit for somehow indirectly psychically manipulating this bizarre reality to manifest. You’re welcome everybody. I’m gonna go start imagining some winning lottery numbers.
I'm so glad I found this channel again. Forgot to subscribe last time, didn't make that mistake again. Love the video! Poor Tommy and the shirt were big laughs, but the interviewer's tired / defeated / confused "the what" took the cake. I kind of forgot the premise was a crime documentary about a murdered girl, so invested I was in pinecone racing. That was a wonderful reminder with a *perfect* delivery. Great writing and acting all around!
Bravo. I have been obsessed with this case since hearing about. Carson’s alibi doesn’t line up. That pine cone is eventually going to take on water and sink.
My theory is that Carson actually is innocent and it was Ray Buckley who killed Jessica. At 04:15 when the murder is depicted you can clearly see it is the same hat Ray is wearing during his interview at 05:43. This would also make his statement that he would have seen Carson go through Briar cliffs mean he was attempting to pin the murder on Carson. The reason for this might have been that after Carson had set such a high reputation for the Pinecone race in previous years, Ray could not take losing anymore and wanted to eliminate him from future competitions by making everyone think he cheated. This doesn't take into account all the blood on Carson's shirt at the end of the race but either way I thought it was a fun theory.
However that doesn’t account for why people said he went by the river when the sap station 14 lady Annabelle Buckley said she never saw him. Unless they were in cahoots on framing Carson 🤔
Carson could only run through Abner farm if he was a family member, that’s why he was pressuring Jessica to get married before the race. After his attitude on Coneapalooza she called the wedding off, which pissed him off big time. When he tried to pressure her one more time, things got out of hand and the rest is history. RIP Jessica, blessed be her soul
One of my favorite parts of this is the subtle details in the set design how there’s pinecone related things all throughout the backgrounds of the interview shots
not only should carson's win this year be under review, but there should be serious speculation cast on every championship he's ever won. he's a cheater and always has been, he just got caught this time
I been saying it for so long, the fact no one seen him actually ever finish the race when he "won" in 2017 is beyond me! how did everyone let that slide, I've felt like I've been going insane
Carson is innocent and the fact this documentary would insinuate such a thing makes me think this paid propaganda and SLANDER on Carsons name by Lloyd Jr.
