First time hearing this. I normally wouldnt comment but feel i had to. This is what music is. This is what makes me want to listen. Its serene, calming and just downright bloody nice to listen to.

Is this Kora the instrument subject to racist attack last year, pulled apart by customs officials to check out it held no drugs on the way in to the USA? Horrified by this story last year, but had not listened to him then. If so I now understand even deeper the resonance of this tragedy, of which I don't know the outcome. If anyone else does, I would love to know

If a Stradivirus violin was destroyed, I am sure it would be seen as a tragedy, especially for the musician. I have seen such a Kora as this, exquisitely crafted, handed down the generations, of sublime tone, compared to such a violin.
