Agreed. The interviewer should not have asked an ballerina of Misty’s stature to perform a ballet move then comment on her on past experience as 14 year old! Jeez!

I will always respect and be thankful, to Misty Copeland, for disproving the negative stereotypes of Black Woman. Black Women can, be graceful ,feminine, and Beautiful.

@CLNPG She’s not disproving anything. She’s a horrible ballet dancer that should have never gotten the title of prima. If she were white she’d be stuck in corps de ballet. The only thing that promoting her prima did was to send message that black women can’t dance classical ballet and we just need to accept them for inclusion and diversity. She damaged the reputation of black women

I was wondering the same thing and I'm american. And I'm sorry to say it, but Misty Copeland was not even the best dancer. She was more of a PR move. She's a lovely lady don't get me wrong beautiful lovely lady, but this is all ridiculous
