I'm a huge BB fan and I've been doing these exercise since 2013. BB saw me through my wedding, my pregnancy and post partum. It's by far the best exercises for my body and I keep buying her latest digital dvds. Mary Helen Bowers is phenomenal!
I have been doing BB for about three months now, I have a 10 years fitness background so I wasn't starting from 0 and I don't recommend if you are a beginner to fitness to start with BB either. But let me tell you, after the first 2 weeks I noticed a change in my body. This is crazy, I know, but it works. It is worth it to buy a subscription. The workouts you can find here on youtube have nothing to do with the ones she makes in her web. I am never leaving BB
@@manish1926 Subscription, you have weekly new content, all dvds available there (you don't have to pay for them if you are subscribed) and monthly challenges
@@manish1926 I have several BB DVDs and a subscription. I LOVE the subscription and will always keep it. It's just so easy to focus on and search/select what I want to do and there's much more barre work in the subscription. I also love the custom workout all set for me. Or I can create and save my own play list. Challenging and very effective!
Hey love your video!! I have to say I am a huge Mary Helen B fan! I bought her videos back in the day (after the Black Swan fandom hit peak). I love them and I keep coming back to them year after year. I can still use an external hard drive to play them on my computer. Best money I ever spent
I’ve been doing the BB Classic 60-Minute Workout DVD (layer renamed the Total Body Workout) about 2x a week for the past few months, and I’ve definitely noticed a difference in muscle tone. And it’s gotten easier with time; I no longer have to pause the video so frequently because of the strain from doing so many moves on one leg at a time. I do agree the stretches are too brief/perfunctory. It’s pretty clear they were trying to adhere to the 60-minute timeline promised in the original video. Pausing to prolong a stretch a bit or drink some water can definitely help.
You should Sleek Technique and tell us your opinion. The two founders, Victoria and Flik are also professional dancers. I have their box set and tried their monthly subscription and I would say it's my second favorite ballet workout. Thanks! Also, great video!
Thank you for your comprehensive review; I’m going to give BB a try. But of course I’m dying to know which are the YT channels you already like that you didn’t mention?
