Maria, I wanted to thank you. I do one of your videos almost daily for the past few months and they have helped me tremendously through these difficult times. We are the same age and yet are lives are so different, and with these videos I can have a small taste of yours, so thank you very much, keep being sweet and inspiring.
I just finished doing this workout and love it sooo much! To be honest, the back exercises are very difficult for me but it simply shows that I have to work much harder on my back muscles. Oh and yeah, my arms are also dead right now 😅 It was amazing and I will do this regularly. Thank you, Maria 🙏❤

This burned but it was also absolute heaven for my weak, tight and irritated bicep tendons. It gave them the release they needed, and some strength, and this also helped increase my shoulder control and mobility/active flexibility. To top it off these exercises also helped me gain more active flexibility and control in my upper back area. It's really helped my posture, daily comfort and my contortion training. I love your work and your routines. X

I’m currently on summer break but spending the holidays working (9-7) with only one day off a week when i have a ballet private. As I’m so busy with work I’ve been finding it hard to find time to workout and stretch. I’ve been waking up at 6:30 each day to fit in 2 of your fitness workouts and then a stretch and I feel so much better now that I’m working out again. I’m 16 years old and don’t want to dance as a career but want to continue for fun. Thank you so much for your amazing videos and for inspiring other dancers like me!

I was looking for tonnig my flappy arms without making my shoulder bigger until I found your video. These exercises are really effective for tonning the triceps. Since your workout content is ballet inspired, I'll show your channel to my mom who used to be a ballerina in her early adulthood.

totally glad I found this . I saw the Nutcracker last night and that inspired me to seek "ballet arm strength videos" 20 year yoga practice and injured my neck last dec ( 2022) . Been a slow come back with body strength. TY for all you do. Can't wait to do it again and explore more of your videos.
I love these workouts even though they can be tough. The arm circles kill me the most so sometimes I start in the middle of the video to do those first before my arms are tired. With the other exercises I can push through the pain, but with arm circles when I'm tired, my arms just die - it isn't painful I just can't lift them anymore! I agree with you that back muscles are so, so important. I used to do weight machines in the gym for my back, but since I stopped going, I wasn't sure how to work them at home. I would like to request a video for ankle strength and stability if you can. Mine are so flexible that I tend to trip a lot and who better than a ballerina to help us balance better? Thank you.

Thank you so very much for this video! I am probably not your usual commenter, but I want to say you are so very correct in your feeling that the back strength is important for us all, not just ballet dancers! I am a woman in my mid 60s now, and I am in the process of regaining strength from my earlier years, which started to go in my early 60s. From the time I was in my late teens I have done yoga and ballet type work, Adding Pilates along the way. I am not nor have I ever been a professional dancer, but I was able to keep a good strength overall with my exercises through the years. But we reach a certain age and muscle starts to go almost overnight and we must work diligently but extremely carefully to regain it. I as well as many of my age group have Osteo problems and I must be careful in my exercises. But your videos work so well! No I cannot always follow you exactly and through the arm circles I did have to relax for about a second and a half and then I was able to finish it with good form. I don’t go up as high as you with my back extensions, but I am engaging my muscles and I am seeing benefit. Please continue these videos, as they help so many others, perhaps even more than you realize. Of course you realize the importance of keeping proper strength, but for many of us it’s hard to find things that will truly rebuild strength at our age. I can’t thank you enough! Any and all videos you would like to make I will look forward to viewing and following to the best of my ability. Yes I have to modify them sometimes but it’s very easy to see how the modification would take place so that I can do them and still gain the benefit. Your manner of delivery with Videos is very straightforward, easy to follow, and very enjoyable and encouraging.
this looks so simple but hurt af😂 never thought it would burn my arms so much in the first 2min. im doing strength training more than 3yrs but this video was like hell. ( in a good way)😂😂😂

I probablt didnt push as hard as i could have bevause this was the last of a few Workouts i did and i had to stop in middle of the last one but i love it so much!! Defo adding it to my routines

thank you so much for teachingme how to open up my shoulders and chest. I have broken foot and cant do much exercise and also my posture got so bad from lack of walking and huncheing over cruthces. My arms were burning but I am doing ballet based exercises each day. I have been doing it for 4 days now and I have did the first two for 2 days in a row where it was 5 minutes, the third day was yesterday and I was doing ballet foot exercises, and today I found your video for my arms and my back.
I've watched countless fitness expert videos showing how to "blast" back fat, and honey this is the best one ever from a slim ballet dancer lol not a muscle bound expect 😂.
