I have such respect for ballet dancers and really dancers of any kind. I know how much time and energy goes into their training. I wish people in the U.S. didn’t have such a prejudice against male dancers. Their just as much an athlete as a football or basketball player.
Julian is brilliant. It's so sad that the American culture of his age has no knowledge, exposure or understanding of classical art of any kind. The few young people who are so drawn to it are very fortunate and will follow their hearts no matter what.
Actually that's the same Everywhere. Only really Rich people know about these Arts. I'm poor, so i don't. That's life. Everyone has their luck or lack of luck in Life. It's not people's faults. We don't chose our shitty lives, like you didn't chose to have a privileged life (i don't mean it negatively. Good for you).
@@jessq6506 haha. I think there's a big misconception on your side. I'm not privileged at all when it comes to finances. Actually I'm doing an apprenticeship right now instead of going to uni because its very expensive. You can listen to sooo much great music for free on RU-vid. That's how I found my passion for it. Just listening and crying because its the best thing in the world. You know, arts are not 'for rich people'. Art is food for the heart and the soul and can be felt by everyone. Its very sad that you talk about arts from such a distance.
I really like this young man and he will go far. One little observation. He needs to watch his facial expressions when dancing. We know you know you nailed the moves, but don't be Tiger Woods about it. I think this is something he will learn as he grows into ballet. He will be the next Roberto Bolle.
I want to know how kids in Montana get to study in Russia? Were did the awareness come from of this possibility? It's very expensive for foreigners to study there...its free for Russian students, but foreign students have to pay the fill ride. Are the parents wealthy? And more than 1 child! Going at such a young age. It's just all very interesting. Were the parents dancers?
Dag Droomer, You are not correct. Russian audience is very experienced in ballet in general. They have a long history of ballet. Ballet dancers became publicly knows very well. It is parallel to Hollywood stars in US.
