In this video Squid and Stampy go head to head in a cooking contest. We both bought each others ingredients and had 20 minutes to cook a meal for us both to eat. Vote for Stampy - • Video Vote for Squid - • Video
I'm 18, just graduated and rewatching. I can remember coming home from school to watch Lovely World and my brother and I watching Building Time and singing the theme song together. Truly magical memories.
I just came across some hunger games videos and the moment I heard their voices I went on this whole nostalgia trip.....hoping the best for squid as he continues his yt career and hope stampy is doing well too ❤
Kids nowadays have grown up watching people like Ninja. I’m so glad I grew up watching real, funny, nice people who give a good influence like stamps and squid. These guys are the real OGs of RU-vid gaming and they don’t get recognised for it anymore. I feel honoured to grow up watching these guys.
Same! No one ever talks like they used to, “ Stampylonghead is the best! I love his nightmares video.” I miss those times, and I also really love this. I wish they would get more recognition these days.
Absolutely agreed. The magic animal club and a few others here on RU-vid shaped my teenage years. I don’t think I’d be the person I am today if I hadn’t watched them.
This is perfect. Bit over a half an hour of these two proper mates joking around, having a challenge, making sensational meals and buying the silly ingredients. And what not. Holding the camera the wrong way a bit. Ahh, lovely.... enjoy everybody!!!
looking back on this as children we don't understand friendship when we see it. i was 10 when this came out and looking back as a 19 year old you can def see how their friendship grew and strengthened. its a wonderful sight. hope many people learn from this video as i did, thank you to Joseph and David for teaching us and to continue to teach us. the OG fans still come back to this video, that tells you something that they where a grand part in our lives, thank you Stampy cat and Squid. #2023
I was 6 when this came out and now I’m 16 and the other day when stumpy released the last lovely world was the first I watched him in about 5 to 6 years in the past day or two. I have been rewatch all the og let’s plays and hunger games and it has been nostalgic
I have fashbacks to the blissful ignorance I had as a child. The fact I could watch minecraft and be happy, now worrying about anything more than hit the target. It really brings a tear to the eye.
I might cry form the memories from the stampy era in my life. When I was like 7 my parents called him talky talk cuz how much he talked. And I am getting flash backs for when I was 5-7 and I was watching something that reminded me of stampy and this challenge, I have watched this so meany times to in the bast 6 years
I have flashbacks to when they do parkour! I miss these two so much! I used to watch them all the time and now I watch other people. I’m going back to all of the memories I have of these two and I’m glad I am because they are so funny!! 🤍
Don't lie, this wasn't in your recommended was it. You came here for nostalgia from the golden age of RU-vid. Back when the outside world wasn't ruined by a virus called Covid and the Internet wasn't ruined by a virus called Fortnite. Don't be ashamed. I did as well.
I haven't seen this video in sooo long... Im so used to the videos nowadays where theres a lot of edits and music that its almost weird for it to be so silent but its a nice change and brings back good memories :3
It's so sad they abandoned the MAC. First they started doing only podcasts, and then they stopped doing videos. Sad :( Maybe if they get 1,000,000 subscribers they will come back together...
Omg, they were so much more shy back then! You can tell his they aren't used to talking on camera much😂 I can't believe its been nearly 5 years since this! This is also my 5th time watching it, lol
This is my biggest comfort video and I always come back to it. Thank y’all for helping make me who I am today even through the screen. I know so many people can still agree that you helped keep them so much as a kid :)
Came back to this video exactly, I watch it usually once a year. I wanted to come back to my childhood, to a place where I was blissfully ignorant to what was happening in the world. Happy that if I said something I wouldn't instantly offend anyone, to a place where people were not trying to cancel or ruin peoples lives. Back to a place where you could go out and do anything you wanted without worrying about a virus, or worry about people. When social media wasn't a place of hate, where people could leave others alone and ignore their differences and just be friends with them because they were human. To a childhood that was so short, before reality was thrust upon me. Before I learned of what people were truly like, behind their masks of fakeness. To a safe place.
I literally covered my mouth and almost cried because I forgot this video existed. This brings back so many memories… thank you Stampy and Squid for the lovely childhood. Dang it, now I am crying as I’m writing this comment.
Videos were so authentic back then and life was simply better. Nowadays, the world is much more superficial and less fun. Stampy and Squid were just having a good time together and making a meal. The poor camera quality also makes it so much better.
wow they really have :( they have all these weird fortnite RU-vidrs like ninja, tfue randumb etc i’m sad not everyone was this old to experience this at the time, RU-vid 2010-2016 was golden 😭💕
I was watching these guys when I was 7 or 8 and now I'm 14, i absolutely loved their videos and I still do, its weird knowing that's its been so long when it feels like it was just yesterday when I was watching new videos of Stampy in his Lovely World and watching new hunger games videos with him and Squid, these 2 will be remembered by a lot of people like me and hopefully other kids that haven't yet discovered them.
Honestly, I am so grateful to have stampy and squid in my life youtube wise, they've helped me when my life was rough. When I look back at old series, Pixelmon, Race to the Moon, Race to Mars, and all those adventure maps, I'm always like "Wow, I remember watching this when it came out! Time went by so fast!" I'm almost 13 years old now, I have no idea where my life would be without you guys. Thank you for being there.
Im almost 16. Almost done with my first year of high school. The first time I watched them was around 8 years ago. I know Im not old at all, but I feel so freaking old
This used to be my favourite video ever as a kid. I remember watching it for the first time and trying to hold in my laughter before i woke someone up and got in trouble. I used to watch this video at least once a night. Im so glad i got to grow up with positive and kind people as my role models, and i think it's great that they are still making content today. These people got me through some tough times and practically raised me. This video will always have a special place in my heart.
I come back to this video atleast twice a year just for the nostalgia, I grew up watching these two and I will never forget the memories I made watching them 😭
Since i was a young girl ive been coming back watching this video since it was so comforting and happy and i will continue to do this intil i can one day show my kids these videos i grew up watching
I watched this video when I was 9 and I got my learners permit to start driving today! This is still one of my favorite videos they did together and I watch it all the time.
Who else is here watching old videos of them together whether it’s Minecraft or vlogs after they started collaborating again? Bc I certainly have idk how it’s been 7-8 years man. time flies
8 year old me watching this when it came out: Wow! I wanna try their food haha Nearly 15 year old me re watching this during quarantine: Since when was squid so buff? 😭😭😭 lol
I’ve been watching stamps and squid since I was seven. I’m 16 now and these guys were my childhood. I love these two and I am so grateful to have grown up with these phenomenal influences. Thank you Stampy and Squid for being there.
