There’s just something magical about revisiting old Minecraft worlds, to see what it was like back when Minecraft was new and too see all the creative things the players made. This is why Minecraft will always be one of the most creative games ever made. Thanks Squid, for bring back a lot of childhood memories and hopefully you’ll feel better soon.
Said this in a comment many months back but I'll say it here too; Your Xbox 360 Sky Island series, way way almost 11 years ago, is why I'm still into Minecraft today. Genuinely, it's because of that series I bugged my parents to buy an Xbox 360, bought a One S a few years later, bought the Forza Horizon games, then got into cars, bought my first ever car, and eventually went into an engineering career because of that passion. In a way, you started that, so, thank you Squid!
I started watching sky island challenge when I was 8, I'm now turning 20 this year. This series along with Stampys lovely world and DanTDM honestly built my childhood, watching this bought back so many memories so thank you squid! I cant wait to be able to load the world up myself.

On sky island I think you might’ve skipped it, but, the cave spidey spider helper house was mine (I went by misterjoshie at the time) very fond memories of filming MC vids with you mate (and playing games and talking to eachother or In group in general) thank you for letting us hop on to the server to contribute towards the already massive amount of stuff you’ve done previously and up-to now. this is encouraged me to rewatch the old series and just enjoy nostalga and just how much better the world was back when the world was a happier place with companies treating you better
I remember finding the Sky Island Challenge when there were only about 20 or so episodes, and my little brother and I watched every single episode together until it finally ended. Those are honestly still some of my fondest memories.

If you can, Squid, extracting the old adventure maps would really help out the Legacy community. Since MCDN360 shut down, many classic adventure maps are no longer available. If you could export your saved worlds (mainly the adventure maps, regardless of if they've been played or not) you would be a great help with preservation!
I saw your Race to the Moon world in the list of worlds and I very much hope that gets added. I am glad you were able to find most of your worlds from 10 years ago thus far. It would be a shame lose it after putting so much effert into it. 😃
This video truly brought back so many childhood memories. I'm starting to rewatch your old videos and remembered how you and stampy were the soul reason I started to play minecraft with Race to the Moon, quest to kill the ender dragon, sky island, and crazy craft. I remember watching this when I was a kid the sky island and all. This was the time when people could make great Minecraft myths or stories such as dimension hopping or time travelling and you'd be non the wiser. I watched every single episode of sky island and lovely world back in the day, now I'm almost 18. The fact that both of these old maps from the series' I once treasured are going to be public soon is quite literally some of the best news I've had in a long time. Oh my god. This has just made so many memories come flooding back. When you brought up the Under The Sea set I genuinely started crying. This is the ultimate nostalgia masterpiece. I started watching Sky Island when I was 8! I turn 20 this year 🥲. I cannot tell you how much that series specifically meant to me. Even tried making my own but it just wasn’t as good 😂. Since a lot of the creators I watched when I was younger have decided to step back/step down from RU-vid, this just seems like the perfect reason to go back and visit everything else from my childhood. Oh man, this really brings me back. I can only imagine the emotion you felt off camera reliving old memories. Where did the times go. Watched these videos and enjoyed you, Stampy, Ash, Amy Lee, and who ever else you guys had included when I was about 4 years old, anyway I turn 17 this year and I miss bein a kid when things were simple and everyday when I came home from kindergarten I could just get on my tablet or kindle fire or whatever and watch some of Squid's ol modded series or sky island videos or whatever. Race to the Moon was personally my favorite 😉

Your skyisland series was the first proper Minecraft series I watched, I started with the cake factory episode. You inspired my siblings and I to start our own skyisland world (which we made in creative mode) and still play on over 10 years later! I vividly remember when I was younger hearing about your account getting hacked, and if I do remember correctly, losing access to the sky island for a bit. It honestly feels great to hear that all these worlds are finally back, the quick builds were another great favourite of mine.
