I just want to clarify at about 3:50 ish that Eagles don’t actually mate in the sky, but rather preform ritualistic acrobatics- similar to many mating dances and displays done by other birds. What they were referring to here is where a pair of eagles lock talons and dive bomb together before splitting off last second. There have been records of eagles doing this and actually hitting the ground, too. They also do aerial rolls with their talons locked. Otherwise, they mate on branches, safely, like any other bird.
