America biggest ally Indian, Indian captain and Indian crews guided their (American closest Ally) South Korean made boat crashed into the pier of this bridge Named after an American hero. It is an unique Indian way saying to Americans, cut the the import/export deficit with China. The chance of losing power this second and aiming right at the pier of the bridge is 1 in a Zillion. Go figure.
I do believe all main support columns need to have a protective barrier!!! like a fender design.. where if their is a collision.. it will stop the ship from hitting those main support columns!!! it was a just a matter of time. before this disaster became a reality!!! also they should have rushed the road repair crews off the bridge.. no one should have been on that bridge!!! a big mistake!!! those families will probably sue,.. the city or government.. be ready.
They did come out with different requirements. Three years after this Bridge was built. That could have helped allot. Those requirements were added after a Florida bridge went down.
@@rogerthat4545 When they rebuilt the Florida sunshine bridge. That’s the one that went down. They put concrete islands aways from the bridge support. Even if the ship blasts threw the islands. It should slow enough. To hopefully not take out the whole bridge.
They were told to put up protective barriers, but deemed it to be too expensive, they need to be sued, now the tax payers are going to be taxed for stupidity.. not the first bridge to be distroyed by a ship..
this ship had two pilots on it and it still did this damage. Because the crew of this ship are from a country I know to be hostile to the west, I find it quite easy to believe this is a purposeful act. Perpetrated by their country of origin to disrupt the americun economy and by proxy the world.
