A Baltimore man was recently arrested for coaxing squeegee workers into his truck and taking them to a home in West Baltimore and shooting them, according to charging documents obtained by WJZ.

It would be worse if they were random people, not even of the same group he was searching in. It would be better if it were the actual preparator or an accomplice. All of which has to be laid at the feet of the government that monopolizes power and doesn't offer justice. These situations shouldn't occur at all because nobody should want to rob someone else. Squeegy workers😂 all they do is harass everybody at the light. They run up and wash the window even when you say no, then they get mad cause you don’t give them money. They’ll curse you out, try to pull your window down, bend your windshield wiper. You tell them you don’t have cash, their immediate response is, I got cash app. Shit be annoying as hell. But the guys he picked up were most likely not the ones who stole from his mom- it's true something needs to be done about them, really the police should arrest them and give them a year in jail whenever they try to harass people like this- that would solve the problem.

State Legislators need to prohibit squeegee workers from working street corners. All they do is aggravate and annoy motorists for money. Those squeegee workers made Sandra Dixon feel like she was obligated to pay them for cleaning her car windows. The next day, her son Zhamiel Dixon pulled up in his pickup truck and offered three squeegee workers $200 dollars to help him move stuff off his back porch. When they got out and walked to the back porch, Dixon asked, _"Who took $2,000 dollars from my mom the other day?"_ Dixon then pulled out a gun and started shooting. A 17-year-old boy and 23-year-old man were shot in the head and neck. The third person got away.

Big cities have them. They get a corner intersection that the cops don't push to hard on. Usually they cover the same spot if it's a good long light (time is precious). Some intersections are really busy and fast so the cops in my town will move them along to some secondary artery that isn't so dangerous . Basically, only druggies, homeless, and pretty sketchy people as opportunists practice this kind of "work".
If you don't pay them or ignore them they'll use their squeegee to smash your car windows, reach in and spray window cleaner in your face or physically assault you, dent or scratch your car, smash your headlights, tail lights, rip your windshield wipers off, etc. It's an every day thing in Baltimore City which is 20 miles from me, I stopped going there 25-30 years ago when all the crime there outweighed the enjoyment of the visit to the inner harbor, Little Italy restaurants, Fell's Point bars, & all of the other worthwhile Baltimore attractions, I recently got my CCW permit and I still wouldn't go there.

I used to think this couldn’t happen to my mom who is in her late 60s but works full time is healthy. That was until last week when she called me in a panic that she withdrew $4000, bought $2000 in Sephora gift cards and gave the gift card pin to someone claiming to be a fraud employee. They were going to fund a “separate account” to catch the fraudsters. It’s very sad to see your parents in their old age being taken advantage of, I hope you never have to go through it.
