She was just acting like she likes Steele when really she still doesn’t because of two things of Steele’s personality of who he really is even how he treats Balto
I guess that’s just the way it is with Disney villains (before you say anything, I know Balto is really universal but I still like to consider the franchise a part of the Disney family regardless)
I love the wordplay Steele and steal. And how he got roasted. After that he tries to destroy Jenna by spreading gossips to his flying monkeys. Very satisfying how everything backfires on him at the end.
This is one of my favorite scenes when it comes to Jenna, Making Steele move back toward the furnace so that his behind would get burned while they escape was a pretty clever plan!
Jim Cummings is the voice of Steele the black and white Husky. Bridget Fonda is the voice of Jenna and Kevin Bacon is the voice of Balto in this scene. Beacuse, 1 that would be weird. 2 If if they we're humans that would fine but, their dogs so no. 3 That's not what being furry fan is when comes to people who are furries real life. 4 this is fictional film and it's not in our reality even if it's based off a real life person on anything. 5 Actually furries are mostly people dressed up as their favorite character kind of like a cosplayer you see at cons or places you like to have fun at. 6 Stop calling yourself a furry fan when your not. And 7 Making out with animals would not work in real life so stop trying to manipulate us into thinking we can actually do this!
0:17 Im surprised at the amount of Dog behavior studying these animators did. What jenna does here, sitting and putting her ears back? It's a sign that the dog is uncomfortable with another dog's actions or advances and that they are not interested in playing, interacting, or mating. Basically it's recoiling behavior.
Because Steele is an entitled bastard who thinks Jenna owes him love for being handsome, popular, and fast. Jenna never once expressed interest in allowing the egotistical fool to sire any of her pups and that should be respected.
Steele is more like Gaston from Beauty And The Beast. Thinks the world revolves around him, considers Balto a freak because of what he is and can’t grasp the possibility that the prettiest girl in town doesn’t want him so he goes to extremes to get her like claiming Balto died and his final wish being that Steele take care of her.
