Which is crazy considering all the power he has yet to acquire. As well as the fact that 6 years is basically nothing in the face of all his future enemies.
Art style took me a little getting used to but once the fight started happening my worries were lessened. Overall I'm optimistic and can't wait to see what they give us!
OMG TOG IS BACK! This is my absolute favorite Manhwa🥰 TOG has a lore as big as One Piece and other big Japanese Manga. The plot is really interesting, great protagonist, great antagonists, great arcs. This arc (season2 of anime) isn't even the start of TOG's greatness imo, it's still more like an introduction to what is about to come. I hope this anime gets more and more seasons so everyone sees how awesome this story is.
I see people mentioning its been 6 years but that's 6 in the tower's standards I believe in SIU's blog, it was said that 6 years in the tower is like between 1/2 years for us because in the tower days are shorter and people generally live longer
You know what crazy, I didn't watch this anime cause I thought season 1 had around 20 or more eps, so I thought it was too late to get into it only to find out THERE IS JUST 13 EPS lol. On another note I had just started to watch Kuroko basketball and it is actually fire.
Honestly glad to be back seeing you guys reactions to this. I remember they left us on a sneak peek at the end of S1 with Adult Bam but one detail I do find interesting is that he didn't have the cape on then. Not sure if it was an irrelevant panel of him for the sole purpose of hinting S2 or if this is a future panel we're suppose to see later. Overall great episode and reaction!
Some basic info regarding the tower that i think its important: The tower has 135 confirmed floors and each floor is the size of the americas combined. Btw this only refers to the outer tower (ofc the outer tower is biggest part of a floor, but the middle area has a decent size as well). Couple of interestings facts as well, the outer area is the residential area of usually most people, only the more powerfull individuals/families, rankers and regulars, who passed the 20th floor test and become e-rank regulars, can reside and freely enter/leave the middle area. Before the 20th floor regulars sleep in dormitories and are not allowed to retake tests, on 20th floor and onwards, they can do so but have to pay an exorbitant amount of points/money, thats why a lot of them choose to settle on this floor(they mostly still have a way better lifestyle compared to the outside). The outer area of each floor varies massively from one another, different cultures, environments, religions, everything you can imagine to the point that there are even certain groups, tribes, kingdoms and countries(not sure if there exist countries) that dont even know of the existence of the tower. The middle area and inner tower are mostly the same since they are inhabited by a lot of regulars and rankers.
There is no after credit scene...We watched from start to finish, it's the ED and then chibi versions of bam, khun, and the new guy talking about how much he talked this episode.

bam is pretty dope though he's like hyakkimaru from dororo in a lot of ways like both have that child like mentally and both look a lot a like and both can fight good
you missed the first line after the op that said it was floor 20, not the floor of test. floor of test is to start the climb, floor 20 is to become e rank regular.
I liked more the previous art style but the fight scenes were good, as a manhwa reader i can tell you that the story will inly get better as you watch more episodes
More will be revealed in this season, but as per the last season's explanation, anyone who enters the tower from the outside without being invited is an "anomaly." A feat that both Rachel and Ban seemingly accomplished.
not feeling the animation feels way too cartoony and the story so far isnt interesting kinda wanted to just focus on Bams rise not this new character the color palate is just way TOO bright imo compared to last season
Voice actors are bad, art direction is bad, music is good, but doesn't fit the anime like last season. The intro and anding are so bad in terms of visuals I couldn't finish them. 6/10 is the most this show deserves.
- The one real bad "Voice actor" is the yellow haired mf (but it's more like annoying tbf) because of how wimpy he sounds. - Art Style IS worse. No doubt. But it seems we're getting more fluid dynamic fights in exchange. - Music is just as good at last seasons. I mean we barely heard ANY new soundtracks, just the same old so far, and very few others. So Let's see how they develop as the season goes. - OP and ED's are Subjective. But I agree, In my opinion they are worse. People will all think differently, but time will tell how remembrable they'll be. (People are saying the visuals for the ending ect will change every ep tho) 1/2
2/2 The things that lead to drastic artstyle changes and mistakes that people later regret and complain about, are these type of comments. Let it cook. it's the first ep of many, then we'll be able to tell if the music was worse, if the art direction was worse, imo the op and eds are worse but maybe I need to let them sink in. It was a kinda weak/slow first ep but the better judge will be how the rest of the season develops and we see how things like pace are. Hmmp yea looking foward to how this develops, since I barely remember this part of the webtoon. I encourage you to try and approach this season with an open mind and give it a fair shot and fair feedback so the studio, hopefully listens to our complains or praises later on. 🤙
