Couple stories about JJ. 1) he’s from Wyoming and I played in an invite pickup game in Fort Collins, Colorado, not far from Cheyenne. James was there-back when he was heavy. He blew by his man and I was on helpside. Let’s just say my 6’3” height with 6’6” wingspan and good vertical for an amateur was no match for JJ. He put his nuts on my head (pause) and dunked over me. 2) We played in a competitive tournament in Wyoming against his team. One of my teammates was an athletic freak with the nastiest temper I’ve ever seen. He and James and James’ family got into it and it was quite the tussle on the sideline. He was certainly a new man physically after Miami, but he was well known in the WY/CO area for sure
