Surprise reaction here today, trying to wrap up season 1 before season 2 rolls around quickly, so many moving parts at once though, I love it!

They changed some descriptions from the webtoon as far as floor hierarchy and made it confusing. Here's the structure on each floor to help clear stuff up: Floor Guardian (changed to Administrator in the anime): This is the big monster that Bam met with and the one who said his shinsu contract would be a shackle. Floor Ruler (has not appeared): This is called Evankhell's floor and they haven't been shown. Chief Test Administrator (guy that shrunk Rak): Hansung Yu Other Test Administrators: Lero Ro, Quant, position teachers, etc.

Main trait of Great Lo Po Bia Family is anima powers. Members of this Family are the strongest Anima inside the Tower

Great choice to watch episodes 12 and 13 together. You’re in for a ride. Not explained in the anime: the Administrators are the gigantic beasts that originally held the tests. When they grant a Ranker the right to supervise the tests, that Ranker becomes an administrator. The Ranker administrators are mostly the ones overseeing the ascension process now.

something you will rapidly come to realize is that, as it stands, the tower is a goddamn hellscape. nobody climbs unscathed, nobody gets away without a scar.

It's just anime mistranslation. The webtoon openly calls the black march a needle, which is the most common weapon in the tower. Fighting in shinsu is like being underwater, the pressure forcing weapons to be hydrodynamic. The green april is never openly stated to be a hook but it's shaped like one, so we go with that.

Well there's not much to say this time about these episodes since they're a build up to a climax. So it's hard to talk about their content without entering spoiler territory. They're fantastic build up episodes. Quite cute in some aspects (characters' interactions are fun), but also quite intense in others. On a side note it's funny how these last tests have sounded fairly innocent "a tag game", "help some cute animals get their food". While the events that take place during the tests are like "LIES, DECEPTION, MANIPULATION, BETRAYAL, FEAR, HATE, GUERRILLA WARFARE, TRAUMA, POLITICAL INTRIGUE, BACKSTABS (literally and figuratively), LIFE ALTERING BODY DAMAGE, EXECUTION, DEATH, SUICIDE". Like jeez guys, that's why I never call you for game night. Great reaction as always. I can't wait for the last 2! ^^

Shrinking Rak is actually is an "option of conveniences" - some races in Tower are to huge as their natural size. So it hard for them to participate in test in their original form - so there is an option to shrunk the size

First 11 episodes were meant to entice and hook the viewer's interest like a fish. Looking forward to seeing how you'll get reeled into wanting more after the last 2 episodes.

Sorry if you talk about this later on than 16:19 I think I'd forget otherwise 😅 Regarding administrator vs Administrator, they don't spell this out in the anime that well and I guess the original terminology suffers by being translated to English. Basically, the Floor Administrator (on this floor) is the giant whale thing, while test administrators are, well, people administering the tests, so Lero Ro and Quant, with Yu Hansung (coffee turtle) also somewhat counting as such, even if he is the boss of the other administrators, which makes him a Test Director. [There is also a Floor ruler, which adds to the confusion. On this floor it's Evankhell, who gets mentioned a couple of times, but is not present in this season].

You're actually lucky you didnt have time for 1 more episode : D Unlucky for us tho . . .

The letter was dropped at Hoh's door, and Khun does his thing IN his room, so that implies he was NOT the one to plant it. (Myself and almost every one of the reactors I've watched also got it wrong, however. The show is pretty good at leading the watcher on)

Sorry if it seems like there’s always content or lore being throw at ya LOL but that’s just how big the story of tower of god is 😅 but hansung yu is an anima user and wave controller it’s not stated in the anime but it’s possible for certain positions to change depending on what they need in the battle. But yu wasn’t controlling the bull but ren (sheep dude was) Yu just allowed him to do as he pleased without having to lift a finger himself. So no you’re not wrong when earlier you saw him using an eel to control.

Is it just me or are people starting too watch Tower of God more, I don't know maybe because they see the season 2 makes seems kinda good so they want to grasp it from the beginning Either way I love that Tower of God is receiving 5% of it's deserved attention

season 2 starts in few days, hype hype hypeeee so the anime messed up saying the bull scared rankers... there were some instuctions line to be aware of the bull but nothing like compare him to ranker level in the original manwha... (the anime has its great points and its many flaws)
