It's pretty controversial especially since Korea is pretty openly anti-japanese (which. Yeah) and it shows in a ton of popular work, often portraying the prejudice between countries and portraying japanese people as villains or double-crossers or such. A big plot point of solo leveling in the future as well is pretty adamantly. Meant to be anti-japanese hunters
I read the manga but not gonna spoil it but just gives you a hands up the episode 1 comparing the manga is just the introduction..... The next episodes will just getting better and better than the previous ones... I just hope the productions won't do any cliffhangers... Because the manga is really really freaking good...

If your theory about her is correct, and I am not validating it here, just speculating along with you based on the OP and this episode that if she is a supernatural creature like Holo, could she not necessarily be another animal besides a wolf? I know we've only seen Holo and another Wolf deity so far. But if the moon hunting bear is also a thing, that at least opens the door to other animal spirits being possible as well in this world. But we will all have to just watch and see how things play out. Supernatural or not, that lady for sure got secrets. Like no way there's not a ton of interesting back story there regardless. Also, yeah what is up with her and Gi? They seem close. Marc and Adele are winning at life though. They are still a playful teasing couple after years of marriage and raising a family. That's it right there. That is what everyone hopes to achieve. Marc is definitely our moral compass this arc. Always with the helping hand and good advice to keep Lawrence on the right track. Lant too, good lad working so hard for his boss. I think even he might have a little crush on Holo after getting a peak at her under the sheets lol Holo's really got all the men and boys in this town flustered haha Iron Pyrite AKA Fools Gold. The absolute perfect rock for this particular story.

it somehow annoys me when reactors stop so much, it takes so much away from the immersion and intensity of some scenes... why not react first and then after discuss certain scenes?
@@JustCauseFan because my memory doesn’t work like that, if I save what I want to say until the end I will 100% forget everything. As well as the fact that reaction content revolves around what the reactor has to say and how they react to a scene, and if I don’t pause there’s absolutely no way for me to say everything I want to say, which ends up ruining the viewing experience for me as well

Hey bluest. Love your reactions to oreiagru. If you have free time, I would recommend reading the manga version as well, since it contains more scenes cut from the anime adaptation and there are certain scenes that were illustrated and explained better.
I'm also kind of intrigued by the change they made in that final scene with Bam and Hwa Ryun. In the webtoon, it just ended with Hwa Ryun extending her hand to help him find the answers he seeks by climbing the tower. Bam wasn't in the best mindset at the time, and looked like he was ready to give up. Rachel was his entire reason to climb, and with this betrayal he was just left confused. He was also very angry. His final words in the webtoon were "I don't know what this feeling in my heart is. I don't know.. I should know why Rachel betrayed me!" Our boy was distraught, angry, confused and saddened. So many emotions he was feeling for the first time all at once. In the anime they had Bam stand back up with strengthened resolve, and a declaration to climb the tower to find his own answers like a regular shonen protagonist. None of the raw human emotions he was struggling with in the webtoon. Some reactors too were surprised like "huh, he's taking this pretty well.." Now this minor change may seem like it doesn't matter, but this attitude change will be pretty contradictory to a revelation later in the story.
Some great lines were cut in that final episode which is a shame. Such as: When Hwaryun congrats Rachel by asking "how does it feel to walk the path of the heroine?" Hwaryun also asks Rachel why she so desperately wants to climb the tower to see the stars. Rachel replies "I'm afraid of the night." In Korean, Bam can be translated to "night." So her line of dialogue could be interpreted as being afraid of Bam. When Hwaryun leaves the room after getting Rachel's answer, Hwaryun smirks saying "its time to meet Bam who lost his star." Such delicious wordplay that I was disappointed was left out of the anime. It may not mean much to the story which is why they cut it, but it was just so juicy when I read those panels.

The English sub is accurate to the korean names. We learned in s1 that bam is resistant to shinsu, the bomb was gunpowder. Think of him like a Mage that is weak to physical damage but immune to Magic damage.

A little info, each chapter of the manga has approximately 6 pages or so, and each one is self-contained, so you can imagine why everything goes so fast xD
Also, the manga is just 6 volumes or a little over 150 chapters, so we're definitely going to get the whole adaptation It's already been 10 chapters in the first episode
i think doga kobo poped off with thier opening animations since "shikimori-san is not just a cutie" anime the visual of that anime and this look gorgeous ❤
They skipped out Yuri including the statement "He's super handsome!", while nosebleeding, as one of her reasons for wanting to find Bam during her and Repellista's conversation. It shows Yuri's goofy side and how much he fawns on him, so I was upset they removed it.
@@knockknackk318 actually it’s good they omitted it bc imo it’s kinda creepy.. sure bam technically is older than he looks but even so he has memory loss & also their dynamic definitely changes later on in the series to a more platonic/familial one, not Yuri having a crush on some clearly preteen boy…

Like this part was the one thing that made me dislike yuri a bit in the webtoon and so I just ignored it (mind you she’s my fav character in TOG and has been since 2017), but now that it’s gone it’s even better. It really does come off as borderline pedophilic and yeah it’s much better if they just show people his age range have a crush on him, not someone who looks so much more mature. And ppl who bring up age in the tower argument are stupid since shinsu, sure, makes them look younger BUT only bc they FEEL younger so it’s still weird idc even if they’re (bam and his group) hundreds of years old
@@rhaelicent Yeah I was just looking forward to seeing how others would react if they saw that. It's also agreeable that I like their relationship more in the anime currently as you both said. I just had nostalgia thinking about Bam's potential ships early on in the series. The only ship I'll never understand are the ones rooting for Bam x Rachel despite everything that has happened, especially the ones following the webtoon. All I can do is just scratch my head and look at them in disbelief.

Agreed on Bam x Rachel btw! Though I can’t say I really care for any Bam ship since for most of them he literally shows 0 interest haha
Big suprise this anime. This MC is like Toji from JJK in exchange for zero mana he gets Super Physique I have seen him being compered to Asta and Mash, but Mash is more of a gag character and Asta uses Anti Magic so he has a magic type power already.
