Bamberg is a medieval city jewel in Germany. Bamberg is located about 40 minutes north of Nuremberg, in Franconia, Bavaria. It's known for the bishop's residency, awesome beer, beautiful buildings, and a very rich history. The walk takes you to see the old town. You will cross the "Altes Rathaus" bridge (old town hall) to venture deeper into the busier parts of the historical place. The old town consists of two parts, this is the lower area where the markets are located.
