I hold this song close to my heart. I remember how cold and quiet the world seemed when I was depressed. It was so dark for what seemed like forever. But then things changed. I started voice acting, my grades went up, I went on nature walks by myself to think things over, I found delight in nature, the sunrise and full moon, and learned to appreciate God, and embrace religion. My life was and is better than it has ever been. So I know very well that succeeding our darkest moments will be the lightest moments.

The first time I saw this movie was when I was 7..... Geez... even as a kid, this song touched me.

I swear I've been looking for this song FOR YEARS. Mission accomplished; my childhood can rest now. xD

Honestly I know some critics aren't that into this movie, but I don't know what it is about this movie, I just adored it as a kid and it still holds a soft spot for me more than a decade later. Especially with its reprise at the end of the movie, gets me everytime lmao

I just rewatched the movie, since i remember something about this movie that interest me, and i didn't regret it. When i was a kid around 4 or 6 years old, i used to fell asleep listening to this music everytime it plays because how calming it is. While i was rewatching the movie, i fell in tears because how this movie gives off fathers day vibe, making me remember how i miss my dad's presence since my he passed away. It was a truly wonderfull sequel movie with beautiful music.

This movie is way too underrated. I rewatch this again now that i am older and fully understands the deeper meaning behind the movie. You can tell the Great Prince loves his son dearly and is too confuse on how to raise him cause he thinks he is not fitted to be a dad,that is why he wanted to pass the role to a Mother. UUGHH I LOVE THIS MOVIE

Literally just typed this in because I was singing it 😂 it slayed my childhood

I grew up with my dad as a single father. As a little boy with few to relate to as only a boy and his dad this movie came at the most perfect time. My mom, Bless her was doing her thing, not dead but in a place she couldn't be there for me. My dad's first wife (my stepmother) a drunk and abusive woman... Hit me... Threatened me... Just outright abused me.... But even with their marriage and her being no more than a step mother he feared her gaining custody... It wasnt until i was 16 he gained full custody and i was truly safe from her... A rare occurrence for a man to gain custody of the boy. But my dad did. He saved me. She would have killed me... Im practically a man now, a few years older. Enough "for my own antlers" but my traumas hold me back... I still just want to heal into the buck i am... and be a decent man as my father is. I struggle with direction but hold on tight to what i can. And grow from there. Maybe go to college, but either way enough to feed myself and my loved ones. I persist to be a great prince. And hold myself accountable as such
