Bamboo bicycles maker Noordin Kasoma: Bamboo is popular for its resilience in constructing houses and making furniture. In a bid to make the world greener and more eco-friendly, many entrepreneurs and organizations are also opting to make bikes from bamboo. In Uganda, Noordin Kasoma, who comes from the outskirts of the capital, Kampala, is among those people. His revolution is not only meant for Africans who love fancy cycling but also for elite cyclists in Europe. Kasoma says his bikes aren't just more environmentally friendly than conventional ones, they are also better to ride.
