Bamboo Handicraft Tripura- Master of Crafts- Tripura Bamboo Mission 

The video is a documentary on the 20 master crafts persons in bamboo & cane work from Tripura who have been awarded by President of India for excellence in Bamboo & Cane Craft. The land of Tripura is abundant in bamboo and its inhabitant are amazingly talented in crafting various artifact by their magic hands. 20 artisans from the state (highest in the country in cane & bamboo work) have been recognized by Government of India as Master Craft Persons in Bamboo & Cane Craft. The first award was received in 1966 and the latest one, in 2006. The master crafts persons have not only earned a fame for themselves, but also have promoted the diverse & most talented bamboo skill of Tripura. This video is a tribute to them from the Team Tripura Bamboo Mission.
