This is exactly why I don’t do those tacky “girl bonding trips.” 🙄 I’m 36. I’ve been traveling internationally since 14. I have no problem going on a trip by myself. I don’t need no one to help me have a good time. I’d rather go alone, book my own accommodations (for a hell of a lot less than they spent) vs paying 4 stacks for blood and crab legs on paper plates. Me, personally, I would have never booked a "luxury trip" through an Instagram or TikTok influencer. I'm going to do personal research on my own and book a trip through a reputable travel agency or directly through a resort. Even Costco offers vacation packages for all budgets. You could probably do better with them! Des should have definitely been refunded for her poor experience, and Khloe is trying to cover her bases and make herself look reputable, because other women have already paid for trips through her, and she doesn't want them to start cancelling the trips, which I hope they do!

Y’all better start putting together y’all own itineraries. Ive been traveling for 5 years and have never given someone a dime to make a trip for me and have never hated a trip. Put some time aside and do research on your desired location. I would’ve been 38 hot. Also Yanie you are spot on with luxury being different for everyone. Gucci purses, $300 dinner plates and red bottoms aren’t luxury to me. Cozy environments, wonderful food, warm atmospheres, amazing company, new experiences, and calming routines are a luxury to me. Even small things like getting my laundry serviced or my car detailed are luxuries for myself. Not saying you can’t have both at all because you absolutely can, but I personally don’t care for any of what has become the face of luxury in todays age.

Paying someone you DO NOT know to go on a trip with them out of the country is just foolish. She could’ve have sold them into sex trafficking, robbed them blind, or anything else.

I’m not paying someone to take me on vacation, luxury, or not. I think, regardless if the place is luxury, there should never be any bodily fluids, hair, or any other substance in the room. That’s unsanitary and you can get an infection. I don’t not appreciate how the lady never once spoke with the co-workers or manager about the sanitation of the rooms and additional services.

I paid $800 to go to Cancun, majestic elegance 5 days--the best, hung out with 3 friends. We even had a butler. there is no way they needed to pay $4000 for that trip unless they were spending 30 days.

When you have a group of women there is usually some type of jealousy, animosity, trickery, or deceit. A lot of women use friend groups to appear a certain way. You can’t be around a large group of females without really understanding each woman’s personality & how they move. I feel like trip’s should only be done between 2 people when it comes to friendships. Trip’s should be reserved for family or solo. I stayed at a popular mid-high end hotel in the US and forced a complimentary room upgrade because I smelled perspiration in the bathroom when I did my room survey just after I checked in to the original room I booked. It grossed me out SO MUCH that it seemed as if the room had not been properly cleaned prior to my check-in. I ALWAYS conduct a room survey for cleanliness, smell, in-room amenities, linens, etc. I am determined to get what I pay for when traveling...Or I'm gonna need an upgrade. PeriodT!!

Her admission that it was not the kind of luxury they were expecting: "I do not stay at the most 'Ritzy Ditzy" hotels because when I travel that's not what I'm looking for sometimes I'm looking to be immersed into the culture and *I felt like St. Lucia, that's what we were doing."* Timestamp: 30:40 2. Apparently more of the girls did not feel the hotel was luxurious either, but once they stayed the night and saw the views the following morning (aka settled into their poor choice) they changed their tune. Views alone do not equate to luxury. 3.That trip looked like Spring Break in MX with a bunch of college kids. Not a 5-star luxury resort. I don't know of any that would let guests pour shots into each others' mouths and eat all that food in the pool... 4. A 5-star hotel would never have that sheet issue. I cannot imagine that. 5. She gaslit her followers more by sharing that anecdote of not having running water for an entire day and giving the hotel grace. 5-star hotels are not going to sell you rooms that don't have running water. If that did happen, they wouldn't expect you to give them grace, they would refund your room and/or give you another one. 6. Many more red flags... That trip was a joke for $4,000. She definitely scammed those women, and it's sad.

There's nothing wrong with girls trips, HOWEVER, you're supposed to get all of your travel package info prior to payment. Once you receive the info then do your own research to make sure that the accommodations are upto your standards. If the accomodations are sufficient then pay for the trip

The young lady needs to file a complaint with the State Attorney General's office of wherever state the grifters business is licensed at, assuming she has a business license In fact anyone that has a problem with any business or landlord can file a complaint with the State Attorney General's office of where the landlord is located or the headquarters of the company you have a problem with is located. For example FedEx headquarters is located in Tennessee even though I live in Florida so I filed a complaint with the Tennessee State Attorney General's office and got my issue resolved

It's so wild to me that people would sooner trust a stranger with their money, than spend like, 20 mins on Priceline, Agoda, or Skyscanner and just plan their own trip. Call me an individualist or whatever but I can't imagine giving anyone that much control over my precious vacation, let alone someone I don't even know. It's a lot better when I curate my own trip to my own liking, and if something doesn't work out these travel broking websites usually have a pretty robust refund policy.

I personally don’t see “luxury” from those stories…as someone who heavily travels. We have to start understanding there is a difference between luxury and Boujee. One is a cheaper version of luxury.….. it didn’t give Luxury for me personally it gave Boujee on a budget which there is nothing wrong with that but it’s not what’s she is marketing. Then to say she has dealt with situation where she experienced similar things and didn’t leave. Like she should have stayed and dealt with being uncomfortable is CRAZY. I had someone book me a hotel that was 4.3 stars their idea of luxury and I got there it wasn’t my idea of luxury but I stayed and “dealt” until I saw a large roach. I immediately packed my bag and left because my standards weren’t met and I was uncomfortable. Not everyone is going to “DEAL” with what they are given and make it work. NOR IS THAT LUXURY. LUXURY IS BEING TREATED AT YOUR WORTH - The actual definition “the state of great COMFORT & extravagance living/treatment. Luxury is leaving and paying for something that meets YOUR standards not accommodation. You can’t say you’re providing a luxury trip and the largest part of the service, the living accommodations be below standard. Keep in mind most of the stuff they did you CAN do in Miami….nothing was unique but the ambience of the location OUTSIDE if we’re being honest. So for her to say “this looks like Orlando etc” to the girl when your experience was the same is just projection to me. She had to belittle that women’s standards to make herself feel validated. Multiple women apparently had the same complaint which means whatever idea of “Luxury” she PROMOTED was not the luxury PROVIDED. So for women planning to go on her trips they should be cautious because it’s a red flag as a BUSINESS owner, the young lady wasn’t happy about her living arrangements she should have been accommodated quicker and compensated with SOMETHING… PERIOD. Had her response been more professional when texting and she said you know what I’m going to accommodate you as best as I can because this is not the experience my business provides….gave her a percentage of her money back for a minimum her stay would have been the right thing to do to cover her sleeping arrangements at the place she moved to for her time being…..and still had her enjoy the other festivities promised in her package. That would’ve made so much more of a difference in her experience, and still providing SOME sort of the trip promoted as a business owner. (BUT HEY THIS IS HER BUSINESS - this is just my long ass opinion) lol since I have watched her content before & she seems very self sabotaging.

I work in the Hospitality Industry : • if You have to make instalments for holidays, no contract , no receipt of the payments, it's not holidays. Issa SCAM ! •If You have no informations of the location, standards of the hotel, reference of the agency (every country has an Hospitality association or Union of sorts ) DO NOT GO. •Also Black Ladies, the U.S. has many territories like Samoa, Virgin islands, Marshall, Guam, Micronesia etc... They don't always have luxury type hotels, but It's very affordable, beautiful, safe and the locals/indigenous are very welcoming, You get to slow down, discover new cultures, flavours and traditional pampering is amazing. Sometimes Luxury can be SIMPLE ! Hope They sue her.

It’s so weird seeing people using travel agents. I am a traveler. Hubby and I were in South America for two months. We were in Chile and Argentina to hike the region Patagonia. Then we went to Brazil to enjoy carnival. After Brazil we traveled to NYC and then home (Europe). I planned everything!!! Patagonia region is absolutely gorgeous. ❤ We will be going next to Tanzania again, but this time to hike Kilimanjaro Mt. And then Bhutan. You can have luxury and planning your own travels.

I went on 1 “luxury girls trip” and that was in the states that was enough for me. I tried to warn all the other girls but they kept paying her, and headed to a trip to Dubai & Maldives … girllllll these woman flew 19 hours to show up and have no hotel no accommodations no flights back home, they burned that girl down to the ground ran her off the entire internet!!!

Always book through legitimate travel agencies for just these reasons and safety first.

$4k is A LOT for going to these places. That’s considered a “guest house” in St Lucia - not a resort. The girl who stayed at the Royalton went to an actual resort. You could easily do this trip for half that if you’re on a budget. I think if this event planner is offering “rustic stays” then she needs to state that up front. Having a dirty room in a regular degular hotel is a total violation. A LUXURY RESORT where I paid 4,000?!?!? That place better be SPOTLESS. Having a clean room in hospitality is base level. A dirty bloody room in a luxury resort is NOT normal.

I have been on a "Luxury" travel trip with a woman like this. the value paid was 2400( flight not included) a person and we didn't even get to pick our meals in Colombia. Only like 2 of the meals were paid for and breakfast was provided by the hotel. People paid different prices, no refreshments were provided. If you know currency the US dollar goes a long way there. Most of these agencies are just paying themselves. They promised us visiting multiple islands on a boat and we barely got to one. We had to hurry up eat and leave in like 45 minutes.

It all looked boring to me. It’s just drinking and listening to loud music in a foreign country. Who in their right mind would pay for that ? Especially 4k with no knowledge of the location? 🥴Not trying to be too judgey but as a grown bw I prefer a concert or a convention. It’s way more economical and worth it in terms of experience than this nonsense.

Most of the things they paid for was already included in a package the resort already offered… its weird to pay a random for a trip and not ask where you are staying…The resort is responsible for the cleanliness of the rooms not the person she booked through and her saying she is selling kat can be looked at as defamation… Jessie Woo made some good points in her video. I will say the bickering was not professional.
