I recently got the P1S, and I have previously had Creality and Elegoo products. I have never had a printer like the P1S, I literally unboxed, set it up and has been printing INSANE prints with 0 layer lines in my prints. Again, with K1 I hear people have to "zone in settings?"... I didnt want a printer I had to manage and configure. It takes the fun out of printing, I just wanted a printer that printed and the P1S was the best investment I could have ever asked for. This was my experience.
I got the k1 and i absolutely love it I had a initial headache with weird errors, but after a downgrade in firmware I havent had any issues Its a real beast that prints amazing every time and it does quiiiick!
I've decided to get a 3d printer. I know nothing about it, the research I've done over the last few days has led me to one of these printers. Initially, I was interested in the a1 combo. But since I don't really know what I'm even planning to print, I feel like I want something that can do practically everything and print multiple types of filament. So I've upped my budget and and am now looking at the p1 and k1. Long intro- sorry... What I'm getting at is a couple different things. The ability to tinker on the k1- is that to say I can't edit or design my own models and print them on the p1? Does the p1 use proprietary software that's limited in its abilities? Can I not adjust models on the p1? Like what if I want to design some random part for some random thing. Can I not do that on the p1?
If your printing mainly PLA then the A1 combo is cheapest and best option. If your trying to print specialty filaments like ABS then the P1S printer is best
Price is important in the US too. For whatever reason reviewers avoid saying the price for all types of items. I usually find myself looking up price when watching a review.
Thank you for the review! I have seen a lot of reviews for p1s and k1 max, but cannot decide the one to choose... as both seems to be on par. currently my current 3d printer is a ender 3 pro, old one, very slow and not always the best quality. the problem choosing is k1 max have bigger built capability, but question is how often do i need the bigger size against p1s? the p1s with ams sounds nice, but don't know if i will be printing 2 or more colors in same print. both K1 Max and P1S Combo are around 800 EUR... I just want to print and not much tinker with it like the ender 3 required... With the words I probably already have given my own answer... the p1s. Any one some good advice?
