Your videos are always some of the most helpful because you show and discuss how you actually different tools and processes. I also appreciate your openness and videos about business/life. Thanks.
Shout out from Hartford, WI! Santa brought our kids an A1 Mini and while searching RU-vid for a few quick answers to their questions, as I'm a beginner too, we did a double take when we noticed Hartford, West Bend, Random Lake in a few of the projects on your screen. Awesome to see the local channel, which also gives the kids inspiration to continue developing their channels from our small town. Thanks for all the vids! We are having a blast. Printing some Traxxas Slash drift wheels right now.
Great video as always Joe! I got my p1p a while back and my business is doing great. You probably don't remember me but we spoke a while back and your insights were invaluable to me. So I really can't thank you enough :)
Great video. I was recently in a hotel hundreds of miles from my printer and I did not miss a day of printing with my X1C and AMS. Just had to have someone local to clear the build plate. The cloud option is such a "duh" moment that you wonder why it took so long for a full solution to come to market. I also use the Bambu handy app to print items from the "history" and I dont need to open a computer/ slicer at all.
Great video! Thank-you for sharing the workflow. For customized parts, in which each part is similar yet is different (e.g., customer's name applied to part), what would the workflow look like? Can you send the files to a print queue and the software will automatically send the file to the next available printer? I plan on building an auto-ejection system when the print ends, but it is not clear how to automate the printing. There doesn't seem to be a view of seeing the status of all print jobs at the same time, so clicking each printer to try to determin which will be available seems tedious. If a print queue isn't available, does the software at least have the capability to notify you (via app, text message) that a print is finished? I'm sold on Bambu, but it seems that is lacking for automated print farm use. I see lots of older requests for such features online, but it is not clear what the current capability is. Perhaps this has all be addressed via firmware/software updates.
Do you run into blob issues on your round prints on the seams in the slicer and actual print? Im trying to improve the seam finish on some small round objects.
Recently found your channel and really appreciate the content. Video suggestion: could you share how you tune your printers for different filament? I recently switched from Prusa and have a bunch of Prusament and really struggling to get it to print as nicely as the Bambu filament.
Thanks for the video Joe! Hey what's your thoughts on the new P1S? Are you going to stick with the P1Ps? What materials do you mainly print in? I'm looking at doing some ASA (since stuff I printed in PETG for my car decided it wasn't going to hold up to the summer heat) and was wondering if I needed the enclosed version of the printer (P1S) to do that?
Which modeling software do you use for dimensionally accurate modeling? Fusion 360 is very popular from what I have seen. Is that what you would recommend?
Great video, cool to find out you live an hour away from me lol. But can you tell me if you can send multiple plates to the printer? For example you send 5 plates to the printer, let it print then take the plate/print off and hit continue and it will print the next plate and so on and so forth until the plates are completed? Or does it not work like that?
WDYM skipping the SD card process? I've had an Prusa MK3S+ for 3 years and the SD card is still in the plastic bag it came in. Octoprint has been a thing for a long time and it works great on wifi.
Great video - thank you. I am currently running 2 MK3's 24/7 and am looking to add a 3rd printer to keep up with my business needs. Do you have any concerns sharing your files via the cloud. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but I've spent months developing my products and it would be devastating if they ended up on someone else's printer. I sell globally which adds to that concern. Thank you for taking the time to produce these videos - always well done!
I'd argue that anyone who has the ability to collect/steal data on the cloud could very easily sketch any of these designs on their own. Imagine the volume of prints being sent through the cloud services. Finding something useful/desirable that way seems way harder than just buying one of the items and grabbing calipers. Sure there may be extra special cases, but I don't think this is a risk to 99.99% of folks, including small business owners
@@calebplumleephotography so generous with other people’s ip aren’t u. Do you know this bc u work at their data center or did you assume China would respect us ip bc they have such a good track record. 🤡
