Watching this match, I can't help but think it would be impossible without peace between the Republic and Northern Ireland. This competition is governed by rules and respect, not hatred and chaos.

Great fight im ok with a draw but those are 2 guys that should be training with each other if i ever saw any .

First time watching this. Wanted to see what Smullen was about. There's no way you can rationally score R1 for Smullen. Yeah, Smullen was on top for a bit, and got some nice punches, but he didn't do much damage and McKee threatened with an armbar. Also, McKee's damage standing, and on the ground far outweighed anything Richie did. The ref actually should have stopped the bout as Richie was NOT defending himself and the ref made the mistake of looking at the clock instead of judging the fight objectively. If the ref didn't know the round was almost up, he would have stopped it.

Good R3 by Smullen. He needed more of that. Not much damage but dominated position. Oh, it was in Ireland.. that explains it lol. In any neutral country, that was for McKee.

At the end of Rd1 Smullen messed up by trying to cover to make it to the end of the round. I KNOW he believed that he was ok and no need to try to waste energy so he let him pound away without trying to better his position. But that is a big mistake because many judges wont give you that round because you were in the losing position at the end of the round for a good while taking shots which in their minds means if the fight had continued you were going to lose.

Ok, McKee dominates standing again and threatens a triangle. Smullen reverses a couple positions, but there is no way that wins the round. Wow. McKee surely got robbed if anything. Unless Smullen has a 10-8 round 3. Watching next.
