this cut is the worst shit ive seen in modern mma since joanna jedrzejczyk. and in this weicht class. i mean, jon jones is the master of elbows, but even his enemies had a few seconds but this looks like paddy had a brass knuckle attached to his elbow. i saw many dirty street braks, using heatpipes, brass knuckles, batons. but such a gashing wound with one simple elbow of a 145 lbs person ? holy shit.
Paddy got knocked down, but he took it well, extremely reliable. Let's hope he keeps winning and improves because we want to see him against the top 10...
@@RedPhil87 I know, but Paddy still got the same old habits. Needs to be more elusive, bend the knees more, roll with the punches and not get timed too easily.
@@alcottdevalte7440 I'd usually agree with you on that if it was any other fighter but until he gets bet and his style fails him I'm gonna keep on betting on him to win. But i get where you're coming from my friend.
@@johnny_bruhchill he definitely needs to work on his standup. He's been clipped badly in 2 of his 3 UFC bouts. Especially against vendramini. He keeps his chin straight up in the air and his head is constantly on the center line. He's an elite fighter whenever it comes to his grappling credentials, but against elite 155ers he's going to get finished if he doesn't make adjustments.
Paddy the baddy my new little research character and brought me back to UFC interest I lost being bored and Paddy brought me here watching his little history of experience and his style.
That elbow was that fast that at first I thought it was cracker of a right hook.... shit man that cut exploded quickly... Gotta give it the baddy after taking those shots he still came straight through with a vicious ender.... well done lad you are definitely a future champ 🏆 👍 👏 💪
The guy is entertaining to watch. Everybody loses it's just a matter of when but the kid is a character and celebrity. And it is fun to watch him fight I hope he lasts
Damn dude. Watching this I'm just realizing he ALWAYS gets hit by the left hook. Everyone saying how many holes he has in his striking game but it's just that one punch that always seems to gets him.
True that - not sure that’s gonna work against a top 10 ufc striker .. he’ll Knock him out . I’m a paddy fan and hope he fixes this hole before he gets exposed
Hmm A bit lucky there Paddy....you always seem to be open to a left hook and this is not the first time that you have nearly been completely undone by one. You are clever though and an excellent grappler...well done on the win.
The ref needs to learn to chill a bit. Gives them maybe 5 to 10 seconds of struggling (which is a huge part of grappling and therefore MMA) before warning them to "work". Even telling them to work while they're really fighting for a dominant position. It might not be the most entertaining to everyone, but it is an important part of fighting. I personally enjoy it, its such an intricate part of the sport.
@Adam90LFC of course it’s his opinion, that’s why he wrote it. MMA comments are about 40% “he could still kick your ass, 40% “you are just a casual fan”, and 25% just stupid threats. I realize it’s not 100%, but math is not always a strength within the community. I like this kid, he’s fun for a ground based fighter, but I can see him getting yeeted by the whole weight class. I hope not, though.
Apparently it did knock him out. Then the second punch woke him up. Paddy talks about it in his latest episode on his channel. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Bvnwrm8WJJc.html
Definitely one of @Paddys BEST performances 🎉 hes really very good 👍 👌 too bad he torqued his ankle w Jared early on. Like Conor w Khabib he was down 1 limb early on...
Paddy's defence game is to gas his opponents fists out with his chin. Far out, his chin is rock solid, but he needs to learn that it's better to actually protect his face
Ole Paddy has definitely moved onto my list of favorite fighters his character is fit's his hair cut 😂 looks like one of the Beatles and fights like a champion in the making just watch and see!
Stephen Martin should have known that those elbows to the back of the head were illegal, like damn dude I never did anything combat sports related and even I know that. That was such a douche move from him that it felt very satisfying to me when Paddy cut him open like that.
Paddy is a fantastic fighter, but he gets hit a lot, which will be a problem when he fights a heavy hitter. Still, if he works on his flaws I think he's champ material.
Left hooks are paddy's kryptonite This fight is a few years old since then he's made his UFC debut and got smoked by left hooks aswell he came back and won but it was a close call lad stay woke in the cage buddy
I'm glad to see paddy where he is now I was just talking with my girlfriend and asking if she remembers me showing her this video a few years ago and telling her how paddy was gonna make it and his hair will be his signature. Boy was I right.
Do they not have Sun shine in Martin's hometown? That dude was so pale and pasty if you watch closely literally his legs would sometimes blend in with that gray matte in the octagon.
Vamos a ver que celebra Pimblett porque no lo ha vencido se le abierto un brecha y han parado el combate me gustaria que hubiese llegado al final a ver
