Banana Cinnamon Nut Crumble Recipe (For 3 Servings)
Ingredients :
5 tbsp Plain Flour
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Butter, Cubed
3 tbsp Nuts (Pecan/Walnut/Almond)
2 tbsp Butter
4 tbsp Brown Sugar
½ tsp Cinnamon Powder
Pinch of Salt
4-5 tbsp of Orange Juice
4 Large Ripe Bananas, sliced (slightly thinner than mine would be good)
Methods :
1. For the crumbles, combine plain flour, brown sugar and butter in a bowl. Mix till mixture is crumbly. Add in the nuts and mix again. Keep in the fridge while preparing the other components
2. In a medium pan, add butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt
3. Melt over medium heat and stir till mixture is well emulsified
4. Add in orange juice (it will splatter but it is normal) and mix well
5. Add in the sliced bananas. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat
6. Pour mixture into a baking dish/ramekins
7. Top with the crumbles
8. Bake at 180C for 20-25 minutes
9. Serve warm and immediately
