Yeah..I chop up about 4 or 5 bananas for the week, freeze them, and then use them in morning smoothies. As said, the smoothie will be colder and creamy because of the frozen banana. It makes a noticeable difference. Lots of ingredients make this amazing too - frozen blueberries, frozen pineapple, etc.

My favorite smoothie is oats, bananas and cacao. It's like a banana chocolate milkshake. Absolutely fantastic!

Maxine F I'm glad you asked :) This is for a big meal: 100g oats, 10g cacao, 5 really ripe bananas and maybe 2.5dl of water. I preblend the oats+cacao with the water to make it smooth, and then add the bananas and blend a little slower to make them a little chunky. Good luck :D

Love this smoothie! I have been making this forever. I soak my oat overnight in a little water. I find that it helps the oats to blend up better. If I don't soak them I get a "raw oat" flavor and chewy bits of oats in my smoothie. Soaking them keeps everything smooth and creamy. At least that's what works for me.

That’s what I found when I first made this. So I soaked the oats in milk overnight and it tasted much better!

Thank you. I never thought of using uncooked oats so this is very instructive since I love oatmeal. I also suggest oatmeal smoothies for people with dental problems since they get fabulous nutrition and don't have to chew! My uncle lost some of his teeth in an accident and is waiting for his dental implants so this is great for him!!

Hi Anja, Excellent smoothie. The second time I added 2 tbsp pbutter powder with cocoa, 1/2 cup berry medley bc choc and berries blend well, 1 tbsp chia seeds and blue agave nectar instead of maple syrup. Try it for yourself. Thank you for being the catalyst on my journey for a good breakfast smoothie recipe, instead of my usual green drinks, all the time Winning at breakfast!!!!

This is a very tasty breakfast.I have made it twice.I sometimes substitute vanilla flavored almond butter in place of the peanut butter. Which ever you prefer it still is very tasty and delicious.

Havent tried this one but I always add some seeds flax or chia to my snoothies. Doesnt alter the taste but gives an extra bump to the nutritient value. Looks good im making it tomorrow. Vegan strong 💪🥦

Best smoothie I ever tested really ! I just modified a little bit the recipe by putting the double of cinnamon, using hazelnut milk instead of almond milk, putting cashew puree instead of peanut butter because I didn't have it, and adding a little bit of coconut butter (not oil, butter). It is just so creamy and tasty with little tiny pieces of oats that make you think you're really eating a breakfast with cereals and milk ! Just loved it ! looks amazing! try freezing the banana first, so it's nice and cold. peel it, break it into segments and put it in a zip top bag and make sure there's no air in it. freeze!

Bethany P : I just pop the banana in the freezer skin and all .. it’s got it’s on natural packaging hasn’t it 😉 I then just leave it on the bench for 5 mins so it’s easier to slice off the skin

I had tahini instead of peanut butter and Manuka honey with a touch of vanilla instead of maple syrup . I also used my homemade pumpkin seed and sunflower seed milk 🥛 All in all very nice 👍 Thanks

I just tried this. Delicious. I just hope it maintains my hunger for at least 3 hours. Fingers crossed. Oh, I skipped on the maple and went with raw honey and added more oats. Great recipe.

Just found you channel today and have watched countless videos. I couldnt help but make this smoothie right after watching this! My hubby and I just committed to going fully vegan. I watched this video and immediately went and made this! I used dates for the sweetner because we don't have any maple syrup and it was SO delicious!

Yes it's delicious I don't think you need the syrup the banana makes it sweet stay away from sweet.
