Banana Pudding Cake Recipe
1 15.2 Box of Duncan Hines French Vanilla Cake mix
3 eggs
1/3 cup of vegetable or canola oil
1 very ripe banana (medium size)
1 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon of banana extract
1 box of Vanilla Wafers
2 ounces of eagle brand milk
1 5.1 ounce box of instant banana cream pudding mix
1 3/4 cups of milk
2 medium ripe bananas (sliced)
1/2 teaspoon of fruit fresh
1 8 ounce container of extra creamy cool whip (using half)
Instructions
Mix cake mix according to directions adding the smashed banana and extract. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let cakes completely cool. Next prepare instant pudding with the milk. Once blended add the eagle brand milk folding in. Take out 4 tablespoons of the pudding mix and set aside.Also take about 12 wafers and break up into semi fine crumbles.Slice the 2 bananas and sprinkle on the fruit fresh tossing gently. Take one of the cakes turning upside down spreading the 4 tablespoons of pudding mix, place sliced bananas out on the cake then sprinkle the cookie crumbs Next mix the rest of the pudding mix with 4 ounces of cool whip and fold in. Place remaining cake dome side up and frost with the cool whip pudding mix. Place some of the whole wafers around the perimeter of the cake. Sprinkle the rest of the crumbled wafers on top for presentation. Enjoy
