It is rare to see Jacquie performing "Venus." I thought she did a great job steeping into Siobhan's shoes, which was not an easy thing to do... Thank you for posting!
Say what you want about the Banana's..they were SLICK, and POLISHED and PROFESSIONAL! Actually, in my opinion, Jacqui was the best of them all. Engaged, cool, sexy, and NEVER missed a beat. I think they were terrific!!!!
Siobhan was such a strong Band member. Impossible to replace. But it wasn't fair how they were treating Jacquie. I'm sure she did her best. I really understand why she left the band after only 3 years.
I don't think the girls had an issue with Jacquie it was badly handled by the record company Jacquie was their friend and they wanted her since the record company was making them get a new member anyway and they said well only if its her
Pity they did not sing live in that period. Now they do and not bad at all. I am curious how the voice of Jacqie sounded. Mostly you hear Sara and Karen singing I guess, I can not hear the difference before and after Siobhan left
Melissa Wright I am sure that was the Record Company's bright idea you are right also did they think fans were stupid LOL I guess we have to forgive them they were scrambling for what to do when she left
