Fuck we have more than Php5.5M deposit in Banco Filipino because one of the Branch Managers is a friend of my Mom. We were not informed that they were going on a bank holiday. I hope this gets resolved immediately, we will definitely transfer our money to either BPI or BDO. NO CONFIDENCE in this bank.
@09canies Tama ka dyan subok at matibay ang BANCO FILIPINO in opposite....Mismanagement business groups support the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas decision to close Banco Filipino Savings and Mortgage Bank last month....Closure of Banco filipino at the end will suffer the poor depositors. Paano na yung pera nila??
To be fair, deposits are insured up to ₱500k, so the only losers are those with more than that and those that can't afford to wait for the PDIC to process their claim.
