My favorite part of Blooming is that moment after the main guitar solo crescendos and it suddenly turns down into that soft vocal harmony of “Far away....” So damn beautiful. I’m giving love to my favorite non English speaking lyricist who kills it with inserting English into a song! MIKU IS MY SENSEI!💪🏻🤘🏻

Usually with a band it tends to be about one or two of the members who make them what they are. Not Band-Maid. They are the complete package. And the vocal harmonies after Kanami's awesome guitar solo are just heavenly.

The whole album is damn near flawless. And the bonus video of Onset is excellent because you get to see each musician do her thing close up and individually. This band must be covertly in the Japanese Secret Service because they have a license to kill. And they know how to use it.

BAND-MAID: Hard rock without the hate anger and malice.....Love it.

These girls are so good at switching things up. Dropping to half speed then back up with such smooth transitions thanks in no small part to the wonderful rhythm section, Akane and MISA. This track is full of wonderful vocal harmonies and really inventive instrumental licks.. Love it !!!😁

I was waiting for you to get to this song and I see you understand that their overall level; from songwriting to arranging to individual playing to the ability to add more depth light and shade to the music - it took a leap forward on the Conqueror Album. They couldn’t have written, recorded this song before this point - it shows the development each of them have made as players, song arrangers and performers - as capital A Artists, And as a group of artists - as Band Maid - they reached a new level on this song and it’s absolutely staggering. This is rarified air territory - Floyd. Zeppelin, Yes and Rush level territory. Not many bands develop to this high of a level but these five did and it’s great to be alive in a time where they exist! They’ve maintained this level on the Unseen World album.

This song makes 30 top 10 BAND-MAID songs for me.

Kanami's tapping is so clean it almost sounds like a synth! They pump out so much energy, it needs to be collected and supplied to the world! (Oh, wait, that's called an album, right?)

They are simply the best.

These girls, each of them, is the music producer to the band. Probably, Mincho is in the center as the song writer and arranger (I love her so much). But still, the band as a whole offers a lot more than one genius does.

They just just awesome, period!

Personally I find the first half (minute or so) sounding a bit pop-y and generic, like some Anime OP (not that thats necessarily a bad thing!). It is only in the second half of the song, the part that gets cut from the Anime Opening songs, that it really starts like proper Band-Maid. But maybe thats the meta-joke of the song. It starts of a flower bud, but ends as a developed blooming flower.

If I could make a suggestion. Every time I watch one of your videos, I have trouble hearing you. There's a big disparity between the volume of your voice, and the volume of the video you're reacting to. Maybe in future videos ramp up your mic level some so it's more in line with the video volume. Keep up the great work. :)
