ヴァース・コーラス形式とか構造好きな音楽マニアにとっては衝撃的名曲。こんな構造ってある？ラストコーラスのブリッジがラストコーラスの後にまた来るなのに、それはギターソロであり、プリコーラス的でありどうすんの？またコーラスくんのかい？フェードアウトかい？（BAND-MAIDってフェードアウトある？）で、想像できなかったイントロ兼務のアウトロが来るたしかにイントロ＝アウトロはいつもの事なんだけどさここで来るかい？「続いてくから～」の「ら～」が一瞬のブリッジなんだよね予測不能だけど「ら～」がアウトロへの完璧なブリッジ。完全にハマル。BAND-MAIDドツボに。曲中のブレイクも、もうたまらん「だから」の前の「ドン」も「ドン」のあとの「だから」も、もうたまらん。何度聞いてもラストの「オチ」に慣れない最後、何されるかわかってんのにイク！右脳直撃だから BAND-MAIDに弄ばれる

Three years since I discovered Band-Maid via Thrill. Then watched Real Existence, Non Fiction Days, Choose Me, Dice. Loved them all....but then watched the video for Blooming. Left breathless. An absolutely peerless track. Immediately became my favourite B-M song.. .in fact my favourite song. Lots of new songs since then and love them all but....this has remained my favourite through those years. Wonderful track, wonderful band, wonderful people.

ネオン満載でサイバーパンクなKATEのカーチェイスシーンと、このPVの背景のネオンカラーがこれで繋がりましたね！ KATEにBAND-MAIDが出ると発表されたのが2019年11月27日。このBloomingのPVが公開されたのが2019年12月10日。このPVを撮影するときにはすでにKATEへの出演が決まっており、PV撮影に際してはKATE側から”こんなイメージで”と伝えられていたのかな？と勝手に妄想を膨らませ楽しんでおります！笑

今更かもしれませんが。。。 Bloomingのカウント後のイントロ2小節目までのフレーズとCarry on livingのギターソロ直前のフレーズって一緒なんですね。どちらの曲も別物なのに面白い😆 しかもBloomingは上昇フレーズと下降フレーズのハモりになってたりと、彼女達の音楽にはこういった音楽的な仕掛けがたくさんある上に、曲も良いときたもんだ。何度聴いても飽きないし、出会ってからここ1年ほど車中のBGMが彼女達以外のものに変わることって、ほんの数えるほどだったなあ🎵

キャッチャーでフレンドリーやな。リズム隊はリズム隊の仕事に専念して、ボーカルをしっかりと聞かせてくれる感じ。彩姫と小鳩ミクのコーラスとか、綺麗やなと思った。
