Yep, this one is up there on my Band-Maid playlist. A really good heavy vibe, and yet somehow they still manage to make it a positive and energetic song....maybe it's the crowd interaction segments. Some similarly type songs that come to mind from Band-Maid- 'Don't you tell Me' or 'Dice'....I particularly like an early song of theirs 'Don't Let Me Down'. I do like Band-Maid more than BabyMetal...but it's completely personal taste. The ladies in BabyMetal are very talented and are super hard working...and they do get some very talented musicians to play the music, but they are very much produced and a theatrical act. When it comes to that kind of show I would put BabyMetal at the top...when it comes down to an actual stage band I have to give it up to Band-Maid. Great Reaction, perfect selection for the video of this song 👍👍

This one is a classic favorite - heavy riffs for days and a great drop with the patented uplifting chorus. The choruses are one thing that's fairly consistent throughout their catalog. Miku (the second singer and rhythm guitar, red rose) writes the majority of their lyrics. She is sometimes much darker than people assume based on the image and sound, but her choruses are usually something along the lines of "you get one shot at life, it's up to you, no matter what befalls you or how other people treat you." She sees reality but is not cynical. I aspire to that. Some other suggestions that do not have videos but the audio is on their channel under the "Releases" tab: *"Unfair Game"* - track 3 under the "YOLO" playlist *"Giovanni"* - track 10 under the "Unseen World" playlist There are many many many others, and _my_ favorites are not the same as _other_ people's favorites, but they're mine!

🏆 Perfect video, great choice. “Don’t you tell ME” from that same show is another hair metal/hard rock song with the minor chord/darker tone chorus that suits your tastes. Nice catch of Kanami (lead guitar) and her “extra bits” on second verses. Pay close attention and notice Band Maid never repeats the music for verses. The songwriting is exceptional and progressive. Even their simplest songs can be played as instrumentals without being boring. Band Maid vs BabyMetal…common to hear, but not a fair comparison. BabyMetal, as you’ve heard, are heavy metal theater. That “kawaii” pop vocal in front of anonymous studio cats. Band Maid, in contrast, are musicians who met randomly, write and play their own stuff. Paying dues in the smoky bars like everyone else in history. “Don’t you tell ME” would be a great follow up for you, or, maybe check out their instrumental “From Now On.” That’ll really drive home the creativity of their songwriting and separate them from other mainstream artists. Not many can pull of an instrumental with the balance, power, and emotion of a song with full lyrics Rock on 🤘🏽

This song is at the top of most Maidiac's Band-Maid favorites list, including mine! I got to see them do this live in 2022 and was so powerful and awesome! Classic rock vibes, for sure! Band-Maid is the only band that can make "Dilly Dally" sound cool in a song me thinks! Instrumentals? "From Now On", "Onset"(live), and "Without Holding Back" are all excellent and shouldn't be tuff to find! Keep 'em coming!

I love it- your low key and cool way you pick out unique things like the Kanami's "singing" with Saiki as her guitar plays cool little "extras" as you state. That is one of the crucial elements all the players bring to her compositions, complexity and directions/changes one doesn't anticipate. Keep on at it sir excellent reaction.

I especially love the breakdown in this song, How it transitions fron Power Pop Hard Rock, into the most grinding Kim Thayil Sound Gardenesq Sludge Grunge to transition once more into the most Anti-Grunge Synth Pop Melody Sing-Along. Only to be pulled back into a Hard Rock then dragged into a Double Time by the Drummer Akane Hirose to the finish line of the song. And have it all somehow make musical sense. Is there anything this Band can't do? Oh Yeah, this isn't an MV. This was clipped from a recorded live performance that was distributed via CD/Blu-Ray. These kind of clips used to be taken down. I believe it still available on Band-Maid Prime which is a Paywall, but they've relaxed quite a bit on copyright strikes.

Nice reaction and one of my favorite Band-Maid songs (along with 50 others) and this performance. Band-Maid took down this video (and a couple more) a number of years ago, but copies are still available.

Other heavy songs include 'Black Hole' that's paired with a Groover, 'Manners', 'Different' that's a Psycho Circus Metal song and 'Rinne' which is very Thrashy.

Thanks, one of my favorites for sure. Apples and Oranges comparison between BM and the other BM in my opinion. Both are great at what they do but other than being Japanese (and the Kami band is often not even that in overseas shows) they only very loosely fit into the same category.

Can't go by the amount of views. Some of their older videos were taken down by Band Maid to make way for newer material. Copies still floating around, put up by fans. Since Band Maid has over 100 songs, can't expect a video for every one.
