A couple of theories for this exist. This song is played in Drop-D tuning, and some of their songs are in standard tuning. It's possible that her guitar tech didn't get a chance to swap out or retune her guitar between songs. The second, more entertaining theory is that she hit the intro chords so hard that it knocked her guitar out of tune. Edit: Freedom, the song that preceded this song in this particular concert, is in fact in Standard tuning. Makes either explanation plausible.

@@tombworld9012 I assume in this Zepp Tokyo concert, Kanami's green PRS is standard tuning and the violet in drop-D tuning. Secondly, to avoid mixing up the guitars, Miku always uses a black strap on her standard tuning guitar and a white strap for the other one in drop-D tuning. (here in Zepp Tokyo, her drop-D tuning guitar is "pearl front ring chess", and "Aces & Eights" is the standard tuning) Since Kanami didn't change guitar after "Freedom" (the break between songs is too short), is it possible she just used the pedal to change tuning, but Miku had to tune her guitar (still had the Aces used in "Freedom") accordingly?

@@wrcompositi That's as good an explanation as I've heard on the topic. Kanami's pedalboard does have a heck of a lot on it. But in this case that would make Miku's Aces the standard tuning and the Ring the drop-D if she didn't get to switch to it.

MISA (bass) was smiling because she found that her dark sister Saiki (lead vocal) was also barefooted. Saiki was drawn into a crowd one song before this one and lost her shoe.

Yes, Miku had to take over lead vocals on Freedom as she lost the Mic as well. That is why at the start of this song you see Saiki flipping the bird to the female section of the crowd!

@4:10 Misa was interacting with Saiki because Saiki had lost her shoes and as you know Misa never wears shoes so they were joking about it.

Subscribed for the simple fact that you appreciate both Studio/MV versions and Live ones, instead of the tired, broken record, 3-2-1 here comes the: "It's better Live" comments that annoy the heck out of me. Sure, of course Band-Maid is absolutely awesome live, and I love all of them, but I also love all of their studio and MV versions, and *gasp* I think some of the studio versions are better, just for different reasons.
