The music box tune at the beginning of acoustic Puzzle is actually the lead melody of "Anemone" which was also played acoustically with IIRC right after Puzzle in this show.

Yes, the song ‘Smile’ acoustic. The whole band is playing, with some really great bass from Misa.

Puzzle has the saddest lyrics our beloved twin-tails has ever written while at the same it is possibly the best Band-Maid song. And the emotion Saiki is able to convey in the acoustic version never fails to move me without even being able to speak/understand Japanese.

I love your reactions to Band-Maid and your dissecting of their music. When I speak music and music theory to friends and people about Band-Maid, they look at me like I'm speaking a foreign language. I enjoy your music theory type of dissecting of their music. Again as a musician of many, many years, you are an exceptional reactionist and musician. Keep Rocking 🤘🤘

I was happy to be able to participate in live streaming for the first time today! Puzzle is one of my favorites and I absolutely love that acoustic version ♡ It may be difficult to sing while playing lead guitar, but I want to hear more of Mincho's vocals! Thank you for reacting. Puzzle 2017 is The Performance, a beast of song and the ladies giving their best 110% with relentless Kanami all over the place. Stunning. But as if this were not enough, in 2018 they presented an intimate and delicate work deconstructing the musical beast that is Puzzle. A masterpiece of rock music of this century. It is not possible to compare the music of Band Maid with anything known. They are entering a world still unseen...

I really wish a recording of Kanami's material from her "singer-songwriter era" could be found out there. Her voice is really sweet. If you saw the Day of Maid livestream, she did all the vocals on the intro backing track for Miku's cluppo song.

Well said! I'm not a musician but I can tell that when Kanami composed a song, it's not how technical a song should be but the melodies of a song even in her guitar solo.
