If you rewatch it (because it's SO catchy), notice that Kirstie is acting as the Christmas fairy and each time she sprinkles glitter, the scene shifts to the 'real' event - the behind the scenes shows she was sick on filming day so they filmed her separately and developed the storyline accordingly. Very clever! And yes, Kevin graduated from Yale premed when PTX reached out to him after seeing his cello-boxing video and he agreed to try the Sing Off audition. He's a true renaissance man in that he speaks multiple languages, plays multiple instruments, and can sing. An amazingly talented man.

There are 2 more from the same album as this one you MUST check out. "Kiss From a Rose" (Seal Cover), and "O Holy Night" which is EPIC!!!! They sang "O Holy Night" many years ago, but they upgraded themselves with this new version. Many solos in both. And surprises in both! Thank you for your reaction. I liked how you got the humorous parts like Scott getting kisses by the puppy under the mistletoe and Mitch getting the shades for a present. If you watch it again, you might want to eat before..hahaha!

Pentatonix has released a Christmas EP or album every year since 2012, but some years it's been a re-release or compilation with a few new tracks. This year it’s a compilation, "Pentatonix - The Greatest Christmas Hits", with 23 previously-released tracks and 8 new songs. The only new original song is, "Please Santa Please". The other 7 new songs are covers and so far three of those have official and /or VEVO Live videos. The other five only have RU-vid audios right now. The previously-released tracks may have official videos, audios, live versions, etc. The 8 new songs are - PTX original - “Please, Santa, Please” -- has official video Darlene Love's "Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)" Seal's "Kiss from a Rose" (not a Christmas song but it mentions snow 🙂) -- has VEVO Live video Roger Miller's "Little Toy Trains", previously done by Glen Campbell and Randy Travis A mashup of "Christmas Time is Here" (from the Peanuts Christmas) and “Pure Imagination” (from Willy Wonka) -- has official and VEVO Live videos 19th century Christmas standard -- “O Holy Night"; a new version, not their 2012 arrangement -- has official video Traditional African-American song, but with updated lyrics -- "Children Go Where I Send Thee" A "collaboration" using Elvis's voice from his recording of "O Little Town of Bethlehem"

I love this song !!!! The lyrics and the rhythm is so upbeat and happy. But for my wife and I it is sort of bitter sweet. This song brings back so many memories of childhood when the WHOLE family, and I mean 30 to 50 of us, getting together and all the women would be in the kitchen cooking up elaborate meals and all the guys were outside playing ball with the little kids. But now in our mid 60's there aren't many of us left. And not many of us have kids or grandkids. We are lucky if there will be more than two of us, but not this year. So we listen to our favorite Christmas songs and hope that next year we can manage to get ALL of us, what there is left, together in one place. But for now God Bless you and have a Merry Christmas !

Hey Ed this is an awesome song. We are kinda the same. We used to have 30 for the holidays and now it’s down to about 5 of us. It’s way different from when the kids were little. I’m hopeful that one day there will be grandkids and the numbers will grow again.

LOVE THIS SONG!!!! It is so happy in the feels! Love the reaction....ummmm food.....Each of the gifts has an inside thing, Kevin; they did a spoons of sugar but 1 with salt and viewers had to guess from reactions who got the salt, Mitch got the glasses from his Messer video "Your Power" Scott and Mark just published a children's book and Matt's wife just passed the bar exam.

Three new ones for you to react to from the album that all now have videos: O Holy Night (Matt & Kirstie amaze in this one along with Scott’s always awesome vocals), Kiss From A Rose (again Matt gets to shine!) and Pure Imagination/Christmas Time is Here mashup! They’re all just amazing! Great reaction to a Kirstin written song with Kevin pulled in on arrangement! What a team!

I’ve heard others mention Mariah Carey, but I’m getting more Darlene Love vibes from Kirstie on this. And I love Kevin’s happy feet. Also from this year’s Christmas album are videos for a new arrangement for O Holy Night and a mash-up of Christmastime is Here and Pure Imagination. Their not-really-Christmas-but-we’re-putting-it-on-the-album-anyway surprise is a cover of Seal’s Kiss From a Rose. They recorded a live video of VEVO that will knock your socks off. Actually, Kevin did this instead of going to Med School. MUCH to his dad's chagrin!!! But Kevin did graduate from Yale Pre Med with an emphasis in Eastern Studies (or mid Eastern). Talented and smart young man!!!! Oh, and he speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese!!!!
