for the shoulders, it looks like it would’ve been fine if you cut between the letters and the logo so just the logo was on the raised part… so could easily be off base though

Bandai has to step up cause the trend is going into mecha musume. I got this instead of SHF cause of the potential for customization.

gsi creos (maker of gundam markers) makes topcoat markers in gloss and matte that i use for decal protection. don't need a brush. very cool.

You used to collect or you still collect Warhammer?I used to paint Warhammer in my teens which probably only lasted a few years ,I built a few aircraft in my teens, then I started building cars 10-15 years ago, started building and painting gundam 3yrs ago and building and painting miniatures about a yr and a half ago, I now have a backlog for them all so no fear of getting bored 😂

The size of the slot in the hand looks about the same. Even if it doesn't work straight out of the box it's not going to be far off, so you should be able to make it work with some filing and/or bulking up with pla-plate or such. Kotobukiya do some nice weapons in their Modelling Supports Goods line too, including some very military-style rifles, and a big axe, though not quite as lorge as Kikoru's 😅

Unrelated to this model but a friend to this channel. I'm new to gunpla & picked up some gundam markers. While building the Master Grade Death Scythe I was using the silver marker to color the EXO frame an attempt to give it that Chrome metallic feel underneath the armor panel. This is something I was using to speed up because in the past I've used necron compound from Citadel paint...mind you no issues. However while using the gunpla or Gundam marker, it started eating the soft plastic joints that held the arms into the chest like acid. It was like spring holy water into the armpits of a demon lol. Any tips on how to Source these new parts. Or has anyone been in the same boat and come up with a different solution can I just order a new model and never touch this wicked marker again ( metallic Chrome gunpla marker)

Another note to AOT fan: Naoya Matsumoto, the creator of kaiju No. 8, has been stated that Kaiju No. 8 was influenced by tokusatsu media such as the Ultraman series, specifically Ultraseven (1967), as well as Shin Godzilla (2016) and Pacific Rim (2013). So if you all are just a cry baby of AOT fans as disliking about kaiju no. 8 with the reason of jelousy, i'm apologies as saying this but.. i will said this.. kaiju No. 8 is much different than AOT, so don't comparing it as complain this thing again.

I definitely think Bandai is catching up to kotobukiya. But i don’t think they’re on the level of kotobukiya just yet. To me Bandai is the budget and kotobukiya is the premium. But this one is a really good figure. Top quality if it atleast came with atleast another face print US retailers sell this for a whopping $50

Hey Bandai, now that you're making these really good human figure kits, can you PLEASE revisit One Piece? The Luffy you did before is hard to find, expensive when you can, and kinda ass. Plus no Zoro, Sanji, etc. to go with, or villains to pose them fighting (Doflamingo plz).

Use some softener with those water slide decals - Bandai decals tend to extra thick (though not always). Very lightly rolling or blotting a cotton swab over them after they're in position is a good way to get a better result. A super-fine point set of tweezers is much better than an X-acto blade for placement; Dumont tweezers are the best (about $30/ea.) and often used by watchmakers, but if you drop them once, they're toast.

Easily the worst character of the show. Serves no purpose, is painfully and pointlessly hostile and her strength makes it all a clown show, reducing the impact of the other characters.

She made it really hard to read/watch the early parts of the series. All it was was her being a perfect arrogant prodigy while the MC just got constantly dumped on. I understand not making your MC over powered and letting them have flaws, but you need some kind of payoff instead of the MC constantly being the butt of the joke and never having their moment. Some kind of cathartic moment were the MC finally rises above it and decks someone in the face. It took Kaiju No 8 too long to reach that point I think, overall I do like the series but it's my biggest complaint about it.
