Mr. Fears, founder of The Legion, wanted this section to be different, hence the hybrid DCI sound they have. Imagine hearing this sound in the 70's. For PASIC, they were going through the many generations of MDFS. before MD gotten Tonals and quints in mid 90’s, they had Quads and Tenor drums before then. I really wish they could bring them back because in music, something still feels missing
