Happens consistently with Alcorns band. Has been for over the past two decades. Longer really. Ive seen and known people in Alcorns band back in the day who would pop up mid season and just be a bit spotty into parade/concert season.

I see where he's coming from with JSU.. yes they sound great but something about the arrangements and songs just weren't hitting towards the end of the season and they're book got a lil thin. It was the same with the boombox. It wasn't SU best either but they had some bangers and pack a punch. Id give this to alcorn, they were just more memorable is this 5th imo.

For some reason, jsu always brings the end of season energy to an Alcorn game, but boom box will be lower energy till the end. It’s like jsu try’s to be more technical against southern 🤷🏻‍♂️

You're good, and it's obviously that you have a great musical background in your career past. However when you judge the overall performance of a band, you can't separate the dance team from the band. In A band competition the performance of the entire band as a hold is judged. I no that you are aware of this, so in the future evaluate the entire band as an unit. Thank you Sir.

I would agree but the dance team is technically separate, they’re both March/drill teams in a sense but bands and dance teams don’t HAVE to go together🤷🏾‍♂️just depends on what you’re here for

@@therealmccoy2004 I must say Alcorn Been improved since 2018. I must say they gave Jackson A More Run For They Money 2019 and Now! The Only Problem With Jackson This Year Was Song Selection IMO! The Boom Is Known For Great Selections Hands Down! Idk what’s going on this year but they definitely it’s not the same as previous years!

The Boom fears Sounds of Dynamites and The GGs, that's what it appears to be. The band students in The Boom should tell the DOBs they're not backing down from a rival band. Whomever prevented SODs and The GGs from coming in just made the Boom appear to run away from the competition. It well known the Sounds of Dynamites and The GGs is the most popular HBCU marching band on Social Media networks. So don't be jealous get better Boom and J-cetts, saying you're the best is okay, but being the best is what the general public acknowledge.

They lock the gates to keep The Sounds of Dynamites and The GGs doing an entrance, they it to keep Sounds of Dynamites from embarrassing there azz, a great band never run away from a good heads-up battle. If the Boom Bandits band members had the courage and J-cetts they would have wanted SOD to come to battle. They run away like scared rabbit from the embarrassing performance they did loloo
