@@ДинараСулейманова-л5ч You Obviously do not know what you are talking about. This is the ONLY WAY to do it besides the California Bander. It doesn’t cause them any pain. This was my first time so cut me some slack Sweat Heart😊 I think I did a Freaking Great Job!
Ha ha, your first banding was exactly the same as mine! My hands were shaking I was so nervous and petrified the band was going to slip off and snap him before I got it all the way on. Then I spent 8 weeks freaking out, thinking something might go wrong. Nope, came off clean as a whistle. Incidentally, if you ever have to band an older goat, there is a nifty tool called a California Bander. Mark Warnke's Pack Goats channel has a good demonstration. It doesn't require stretching the rubber band and trying to pull the balls through so it works for larger or older bucks.
@@givemefaithfarm Thanks so much for the recommendation! I thought I commented back to you. Sorry about that! You and I felt exactly the same. lol I thought the same thing. This thing is going to snap and Green Bean is going to hate me but like you said fell off no problem. I just did Prince and his fell off just fine. I think I’m a BALL BANDING PRO NOW! lol
@@Biju_Sarkar That was my first time banding any balls. I was thinking the same thing…Maybe I should have used the California Bander. I just banded another little bucking. I think I’m a Ball Banding Expert Now. lol
Actually you are wrong. This is done to prevent inbreeding in my herd. He was also not Buck Quality. Know what you are saying before you say it. And he did have pain medication for his discomfort. I would NEVER let my Precious Goats suffer in pain. So get it right before you say it😘
@@tezegulzulfuqarova8404 I think you mean that I should do this to myself? lol Why would I do this to myself if I don’t have a Ball Sac? This is done to prevent breeding for a Buck that’s not up to par or THE BEST 😘
The vet bwill charge you maybe $400 a kid. What if you have 200 kids to castrate? It’s not a pet, it’s a farm. They will just fall off, the goats wouldn’t even know.
