Amazing how stable that Bandit is at 150mph in the turns. Doing 130-140 mph and stable enough to go one hand. Amazing for sure. Good engineering by Suzuki.
Ah, brings back memories. Looks terrifying on video, but when you're in the moment it feels like flying. I still have my Bandit but don't ride it like that anymore...on account I have a wife and kid now.
I too have wife and children now. I still ride like that. Just kidding. I never do that any more. Hardly ever go over 90 in 2nd gear. I mean in any gear. I keep it under 70.

despite the prowess of the more powerful honda race bikes, the determination and craze of this guy scared the hell out of them and they started valuing their life and gave up chasing the half less powerful bandit, fantastic rider, you should be put on a hayabusa, and tested on by race scientists!

I have and love my 2002 Bandit but putting it in a pissing contest the likes of a CBR 1000 is stupid. Only catagory it will win is comfort. Performing this pissing contest on public streets lets them all win a golden asshat award.

Your speedometer is off because you went 12 miles in 7 minutes that's an average of 102miles an hour just seems low I could be wrong... That's before the toll booth the only thing I don't understand is the odometer is works off the speedo, so something ain't right.
Brilliantly made video in excellent quality, scary would be an understatement. I have a Bandit 1200N, but I won't be doing this as I have neither the skill nor the bottle lol.
If there is a faster bike for so cheap, OR a cheaper bike thats this fast, i'd like to know what it is. Wher did you mount camera to keep it so stable? Especially on a naked bike? That's the real surprise.
I don't know if its already been said or not, but that is some seriously idiotic riding going on here. We only live for a short time and then we are dead for a long time. Surely there are plenty of better places to get in amongst it than on a road like this, lane splitting at speeds up to and in excess of 140mph !!!!!
Olá essa é uma provavelmente 97 ou 98 . Elas vieram para o Brasil entre 96/2000 tenho uma desse modelo só que black ... Porém já tive os modelos mais novos também ... Uma 2005 e uma 2007... Más esse modelo antigo é minha paixão e um sonho realizado... Pois sempre quis ter uma desse modelo... Atualmente raramente se vê uma dessas nas ruas ... E quando vê , normalmente estão bem judiadas.... A minha está com 45.000 kms originais ... A uso todo os dias para ir e voltar do serviço... E está lindíssima e conservada . Muito nova mesmo

Bon... moi je suis motard Bandit 1200 également mais, quand je vois se genre de comportement j'ai froid dans le dos. Ceci n'est pas faire de la moto, si rouler à des vitesse aussi élevé si c'est ton plaisir faut aller sur piste mon vieux, car le plaisir de faire de la moto est tout autre chose c'est clairement l'opposé. Dans se cas précis tu te met en danger mais ça c'est ton problème si tu te tue mais le grand soucis c'est de tuer les pauvres usagers qui roulent pénard et qui a tout moment peuvent y rester à cause d'assassins de ton genre! Au brésil il n'y a de police ou de radars pour des chauffards de ton genre parce que se genre de comportement mérite clairement le retrait de permis définitif, moto en fourrière et prison avec une lourde amande et crois moi tu perdrais vite se genre de comportement!...

EU TENHO UMA 1200 VERMELHA TB IGUAL A ESSA.. NÃO GOSTO DOS FREIOS! ELA PESA 240kg MAIS 75kg DO PILOTO, ELA SOFRE UM POUCO PRA PARAR DEPOIS DOS 180km hr.. já tentei trocar por pastilhas mais moles, mas não adiantou nada!
Man essa aí o freio traseiro não freiava mt não, os dianteiro era brabo, mais ela empurrando parece ser mais leve que as mais novas, eu tive uma 2002 e andei de um amigo numa da últimas 1250 injetada, e pra mim essa dos anos 90 era mais leve de todas
Fala man blz ela era pura , tentei colocar dinojet mais não soube acertar, mais tá pura, anda muito essas mais antigas anos 90 carburadas, essas usavam os carburadores das gsxr1100,depois anos 2000 continuam carburador mais são outros, elas andam pouco menos
what kind of modifications does this bike have? jet kit, sprockets? Or is there more serious work like pistons involved? I thought the bandits top speed was around 150
I'm amazed that you place so little value on your life. In England every Police Car in the area would be chasing you and when caught you would certainly be sent to prison for such dangerous riding! Oh well, each to his own :-)
+Tim Marshall I'd say the value of each person's life is their own. Just because the masses tend to live 'safe' lives doesn't mean they appreciate it more. This guys obviously knows how to ride. It's dangerous for sure, but so is kayaking, skiing, skydiving, deep sea diving and so many other things. The average joe should not be encouraged to do this but I don't think this guy was average, very skillful if dangerous but thrilling ride.
Bandit is a good bike but you really can't trust motorcycle speedometers. They are usually off by roughly 8 - 10 percent. Better to have speed calibrated by a GPS.
