@@the_talking_muffin It seems that you have not heard their 3 latest major releases, Conqueror, Unseen world and Unleash!!!!! (8 track EP). There are plenty of MV's and live videos on their channel from all 3. A Bit about the 3:- Conqueror - they have said that the slow and mid tempo songs on this album were intended so that they had something for their live shows to give both the fans and themselves a bit of respite as they had noticed that their non-stop ferocious sets were causing fans to wilt. One of those songs, Endless Story, is now pretty much a Band maid anthem and has been in every full live show that they've played this year. Unseen World - they have said that it was intended as a 2 part album, half that linked back to their previous style/music and half of where they were going. Unleash!!!!! - No respite in this 8 song set, Influencer and the instrumental From Now On are probably the two most 'easy listening' tracks. Additionally you may have missed The Christmas Acoustic Concert they gave in 2021 which comprised acoustic arrangement of 14 of their songs. As Brilliant as anything else that they have done.

@@edwardallen4051 No I definitely didn't see the Christmas Concert. I do remeber seeing a couple acoustic videos that I passed by recently. I'll give them a look. I didn't know Unleash!!! was an actual album. I thought I heard the song Unleash, but I may have been mistaken. I liked it of course. I can understand that the Conqueror album would take that direction because they do need a balance, I would have to agree with that. You can't go 100mph everywhere.

​@The Talking Muffin Unleash!!!!! was a 8 song EP, so not technically an "album". However, there were only 6 new songs on it as two were recycled from an earlier maxi-single release (with 3 songs on it).

@@armynurseboy As the single is also in the timeframe of the period that The Talking Muffin has missed, I did not clarify that and is also probably new to him, but of course you are perfectly correct. For completeness Sense and Corallium are the 2 included on the EP, Hibana being the 3rd song from the Sense single.

Thank you so much for all of the great info! That's super interesting on how they shot this. I'm not into film making, but may be one day soon. I absolutely love it when artists get the most out of what they have, like action cams. I'm getting a few recommendations for Black Hole. I'm starting to get pumped!

@@the_talking_muffin Black Hole is coupled with the live version of Manners. I suggest watching Manners first, THEN watching Black Hole. The dichotomy of the two will blow your mind.

The problem is they completely overdid the filter they applied over the top, making it far too grainy, and adding the visible sprocket holes etc. It looks ok on a phone, but terrible on a larger device. It's funny that so many refuse to believe a filter was used, but I guess people just have no idea what 8mm film actually looked like, just like how younger generations believe everything filmed on video was all wobbly/flickery with overstaturated colours, because that the cliche of how it looked.

Yeah, I read it was in response to a critic calling them too "pop-y". Well, take that! We all win.

Yeah...because 8mm film will have the sprocket holes show up and have digital 'noise' over the top of it. It may have been filmed on 8mm, but 8mm film isn't anywhere near as low quality as people think, and would look nothing like this. This quite obviously had a digital filter added over the top. It even has the film melt and burn away at one point.

@@RevStickleback 8mm film is completely shit when left to age for 50 years before being used! I filmed a similar thing with grandfather's old camera and ancient film stock

@@Greish-esquire No matter how old it is, it won't look like that. They are also unlikely to have filmed it on the kind of cheap 70s cine-camera for home use that most crappy home movies were shot using.

Chemical reaction is a song I call 'Deep Purple On Steroids' - it's very late 60's / early 70's hard rock with the bonus of cowbell, also Misa had a major part in writing it and has said that it's more her style of music. I may be wrong here but Rinne may have been the song who's dirty sound was inspired by lo-fi that Kanami was listening to at the time. If it wasn't Rinne I'd love for someone to correct me on this and tell me which song it was.
