Banff Sunshine Village, famous for Canada's Best Snow and three mountains off diverse terrain.In 1981, the Scurfield Family (the current ownership family) purchased Sunshine Village. The Scurfields were attracted to the family friendly feel of the resort, and its unparalleled natural beauty. Under Ralph Scurfield's leadership, Banff Sunshine Village has truly morphed into a premier winter ski destination. His vision saw the expansion of the ski resort to include Goat's Eye Mountain and Wolverine Ridge. As avid skier, Ralph saw the importance of improving his lift-facilities to allow people to ski more. In 1989, Sunshine built the Rockies' first high-speed quad. Today, Banff Sunshine Village is proud to offer its guests the most modern lift-system in Canada. This includes Canada's first heated chairlift, Teepee Town LX.

@@ashleyszpigel1177 Feb is often sunny. Book a day at RK Heli if you can. Pricey, two day travel. Great powder every run. Otherwise Dive & West at SSV if you own avvy gear, Shoulder & Far Side (if not) if we get a bit more snow. Skiers left on Bye Bye. Whitehorn Chutes at Louise if you get there. I would show you but off to NZ in Feb. Check out SSV Snowhosts at Trappers. Ullr respect above all! What is your home hill?

According to my knowledge there are greens that go down all the way down so I don’t see why not but they tend to take the longest.

Nowhere near the best in the Canadian Rockies, not even the best in Banff. I rate it third out of the three in Banff.

I've ridden that mountain, Great place, great snow. Rode that chairlift a number of times. Coldest lift ride ever.

HI what kind of gear do you recommend for first time visitor. I was planning on wearing thermals with sweats and my outer gear, jacket and snowpants. I have a balaclava but was thinking of buying a neck warmer as well.

Beautiful place to ski however the politicians in this country need to be punished for the damages they have done in the past 2 years, then I will come to visit. I love CANADA such a lovely places to visit but government definitely needs to go.
