Well done brother. Sweet memories of mine is I travelled to Mumbai from Bengaluru in Sharma Transport bus way back in 1994. That was a single road at that time. Bus used to take nearly 24 hours to reach Mumbai. I had a benna dosa (sorry if I am wrong ) in Davangere. Had dinner in Belgaum. Breakfast near Pune. We had a tough time crossing that Khandala ghat. There were no tunnels at that time. We were nearly 5 hours late to Mumbai. That was Ashok Leyland High-tech bus which body was built by Sutlej a bus body company from Jallandhar Punjab. The drivers were pretty friendly to us. Even now I remember a driver's name . He was Mr Khan and he was from Bengaluru.
Great but roads are narrow but good nd clean while we know india is much better in economy from pakistan but pakistan has motorways with broad roads between all major cities from Peshawar to karachi 1700 km. Btw love from pakistan love the road side greenery. ❤🇵🇰
True, thats why expressways r being built along with new 6 lane highways similar to US interstates. besides most indians prefer trains so govt focussed more on rail infrastructure along with budget airlines , Love pakistani motorways does pakstan has sleeper buses
Great, I request Nitin Gadkari to Visit Visakhapatnam and see NH16, 3 month pregnant lady if she travel by car on NH 16 in Visakhapatnam Andhra Pradesh she will deliver the baby. Inside Visakhapatnam Roads no word to say, horrible road condition, GVMC only collecting the property tax and enjoying the revenue but not looking to condition of Roads in side Visakhapatnam. How Central government is giving awards to Visakhapatnam as most clean City, or Smart City, may be Judges only seeing the photos but not visiting Visakhapatnam inside, if the judges see inside roads and cleanliness then I am sure Visakhapatnam will be out of contest.
26:00 very dangerous driving, for filing the petrol... one day he will cause major accident... Sharma Travels has to take care of this driver , who doesn;'t have any respect for other drivers..
Awesome video bro👍, Looking at the video, it seemed that I was traveling from Bangalore to Mumbai by that bus..During that bus journey, I looked my mother's village, my father's village, my home and my andheri office.keep it up.
I watched full train journey videos. Many time I searched full bus travel video but I didn't get . this is the first time to I watch full bus travel. Very nice .
Slow vehicles in the fast lane should be ticketed by hwy police. Follow the rules or pay hefty fines. And, drive on the wrong side of the highway to get to the petrol bunk😁 Thanks for the ride.
He was telling others left mein aa and abusing that truck driver he himself was going on wrong side what a hypocrite its bcoz of such PPL accidents hapeem
This driver has no right to ask the truckers to keep left when he himself has been sticking to the fast lane all the times. You use the fast lane to overtake and get back to the left or center lane. It is a safe practice too. Remember what happened to Kerala RTC Bus near Coimbatore that was torn by a container truck from the opposite direction when the bus next to the median. If road and traffic conditions permit, one must drive on the left or center lane as much as possible. Further, he even drove in the opposite direction while refueling too (must be with the headlights on) and that is absolutely unlawful of him to do so. Your video has come out really well. Less jazz and subtle captions where needed.
I am from Belagavi...I travel on this NH4 highway to Harihar many times and sometimes continue to Shimoga, Tirthahalli on another highway..also sometimes go Belagavi-Pune Bad road conditions between Ranebennur-Hubli are due to the 6-laning works in progress from the present 4 lane I had lastbeen on this route in September mid ... Work has progressed now and there are less diversions than before mainly around Motebennur and Haveri areas I do hope Hubli- Dharwad will be made a 4 or 6 lane soon and also when going towards Bengaluru, we take the old highway near Harihar area.... its actually one way but vehicles come from opposite direction also...when going North towards Hubli from Bengaluru, we get the newer highway road here which is wider and better and very less traffic (maybe less known to the local people)
An update After September 2020, I travelled Belagavi-Harihar-Shimoga again in Feb 2021 and September 2021 a few days ago and will be returning back to Belagavi tomorrow Now there are only two diversions between Hubli-Harihar...one near Motebrnnur and other before Devargudda! Work has progressed really fast since I last saw it in February! Nee roads look really nice with that Yellow markings Harihar-Shimoga has got a bit spoilt Though a few km from Harihar towards Malebennur..but good enough
I am from Bailhongal. I go to Chitradurga oftenly because it's my native place. Even I feel the same The road between dharwad and Hubli is very dangerous to drive now-a-days especially at night
Govt.can always set the quality of service by private operators by its own standard... Karnataka is an example of this..because Airavat and othet state transport buses are so beautiful and clean private operators are compelled improve the quality of their service .. 👍👍
That's the main highway between two of India's most important cities? Most of it doesn't seem too bad but the bad parts are really bad. Seemingly dangerous to travel at night on. I drive a truck on American highways and the distance between these two cities is about what I can cover in a day driving 9-10 hours.
Vasant Kerai from London hi and Namaste you are on utube and watched all over the globe so there has to be english subtitles please and detailed maps of the journeys and food and lavatory stops make your v log improvised if you want to be supported Namaste
This is one of the best videos i have seen ever. I am regularly driving Blr to Pune and the coverage by these drivers is the best. Great drivers and excellent driving skills.
We all love to these beautiful gigantic machines cruising on roads but in all fairness these drivers take calculated risks which could turn the tables anytime. For instance 2.0 cars will give them supreme competition
nice video. man I'm still upset that even with good roads, it takes so long to travel on indian roads. idk why. they need to have proper control on the roads, not put up random cuts through the cities but should rather use proper exits, and proper lane usage. In most countries, even in pakistan, average speed is around 90-100 km/hr so a distance from bangalore to mumbai would be covered in 9-10 hrs in other countries.. In india the average speed is still 60 km/hr even with 4-6 lane highways and takes 16 hrs..... I'm really not understanding this. but anyways, nice video, sorry for my rant.
for that India needs expressways. I myself never understood why India didn't focus on long distance expressways 2 decades ago. These cuts exist for town people to have road access. It is just a highway. I hope with delhi mumbai, nagpur mumbai and the ones being built in UP, other states get encouragement to build expressways.
Yes. Its because they are not access controlled. We need access controlled expressways all over the country where there will be no two wheelers, auto rickshaws, tractors-trolleys etc. Hopefully whole India will have numerous expressways as Mr. Nitin Gadkari is working in that direction. I really have hopes from that minister. Recently he announced that there will new ACCESS CONTROLLED EXPRESSWAY BETWEEN PUNE AND BANGALORE which will be parallel to current NH4. Lets see now how it goes.🙃
Indian highways, even important ones like this, are still mostly 2 lanes and ill designed. We still have a long way to go to catch up with the developed world. There are lots of incomplete stretches(Chitradurga-Hubli) which haven't been shown.
Bangalore - Bombay route involves 1000 + kms. Bangalore to Belgaum 500+ Belgaum to Bombay 500+ But covered only Belgaum to Bombay. Why not to keep the title as Belgaum to Bombay then?
