I have been looking for this, for 15 years. My most indelible childhood memory is being scared of the moment where they get sucked down the plughole. It's official, this is the best day of my life.
@@eleanorhogan8643 Tugs was short-lived by the same company that did Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. Principal was the same only it revolved around Tugboats. The models were reused in the background in Harbour scenes in Thomas. Children's Ward was a long-running drama geared at the older crowd about a Children's Hospital Up North.
my favorite bit that i remember from back in the day from 8:13 still makes me chuckle Teacher:"if you had two bananas and bangers took one away what would bangers have?" Mash: A Black Eye!
Childhood right here! It has been a MINUTE (read; damn near 30yrs) since I've seen this. Petal putting the smackdown on Bangers is one that has actually stuck in my head (had this on tape mum/relative recorded it off tv and I watched it to death)
I used to have this on VHS, I remember some parts and others I'd completely forgot. My favourite stories were Spell of Trouble and ABC. I thought the narrator sounded like Noel Edmonds
I had this too and the other cassette a long time ago, I used to watch it on television when I was a child and laughing at everything these chimpanzees got up to, I even had the books Eggs is eggs and Ghost boast. I loved the theme tune too, good old Chas and Dave.
Like others in this comment section, I had this on VHS in like 2010 when I was much younger (about 6). My mom and I use the "Black Eye" bit from the ABC episode as an inside joke all the time
I remember seeing that episode at some point in the early 90s and then afterwards me and my brother started singing "Bonkers and Mess" to the theme tune.
