Can't belive she didn't mention a fellow Canadian band Traveler. One of my favorite modern heavy metal bands. The new album will come out on February 23rd. The single was so good.

I'm hoping Pallbearer releases their new album this year. They've said it's mostly finished and have played some new music from it live last year. I'm also excited about the Gatecreeper and Spectral Voice releases.

Malist, Petracorensis, Detestial, and Rhûn caught my ear for black metal in January. I'm most hyped, from what I have heard so far, for Traveler's 3rd album in February. I like the Lucifer album.

@krisdaschwab912 I wouldn't know. I know they had some trouble over a bus driver claiming he saw a swastika tattoo, because they couldn't get into Canada due to the rumour. I don't generally follow rumours of this nature.

An upvote for Eternal Storm "A Giant Bound to Fall" is a progressive/melodic death metal. Giant songs with sick transitions and very atmospheric

new album from ANCIIENTS on Season of Mist!!! on another note; I recommend NOT buying longsleeve shirts from Season of Mist (or at least don't have anything printed on the sleeves).. they fu¢ked up the sleeve printing on my order and had no interest in replacing them
