Geoff, welcome back. If you want somewhere to go, instead of being in pattaya all the time, why not jump in a train and head for Hua Hin? They just opened a new railway station and it now takes about 3 and a half hours from Bangkok. I’m sure it would be interesting to see how the uk trains differ from the ones we have here. Show the viewers the 3rd class carriages where there’s no aircon and only open windows, show them 2nd class and go in to the buffet, or show them the first class cabins (just like the 2nd class in uk, or worse) and show the first class bathroom, old sink with cold water and a toilet pan with a long drop hole from the train to the outside track. Hua Hin also has some nice hotels, nice restaurants, colorful night market where you can shop and eat, mountains to climb, one is up to the top of a mountain and see all of the monkeys around. Give it a go, I’m sure it’d be interesting for both the viewers and you to take a trip there, far more interesting than pattaya anyway, that’s for sure.
Looks like you had a top quality feast at Al Hussain, will definitely be added to my list of my places to try on my next trip to Bangkok. Cheers Geoff!
Well done Geoff, good video. I've walked past that Soi on many occasions but never gone down there. I'll definetly try out that restaurant next time, food looks delicious.
I was in that restaurant in 2016. I went in the morning. I had a wrap type sandwich and a coffee drink.. Cool area of Bangkok. Not far from my hotel on Soi 6. Cheers.

Geoff, Check out the oudh oil in the Arab quarter. They disply wood bark in the window. Sample the best quality oil. I picked up two of the 50 ml bottles of oudh from Cambodia. The smell is something else. Mercedes offers it as an optional scent.

Anyhow here goes where about is this Arabic area I know you said soi 3 but that means nothing to me. Looking to book a hotel do I book in the city centre ?????

Al-Hussain is the top tier 🙌🏻 good food great price. They are so generous with their spices. Variety of dishes. Love that they keep it home cooked style 🥘 Try their mutton Karahi next time (if you like mutton) good as the chicken you got 😉
