Fly with us on Direct, non-stop, Flight with Thai Airways TG916 from Bangkok BKK Suvarnabhumi Airport to London Heathrow LHR - as I review the flight.
In this video, we're taking a look at the Thai Airways TG916 flight from Bangkok to London Heathrow, plus a look at Suvarnabhumi Airport's Duty-Free area.
It was a very hot day 36c, so we had a very long take-off in our nearly full Boeing 777-300 wide-body aircraft.
The food on board was a little unusual.

Odd aproach into lhr over windsor castle, flown 10 times bkk/lhr and always come in over london city,.

With regards to the heat, no need to worry. Airports around the world are obviously designed for the prevailing conditions in their location, e.g. high temp, high rainfall, snow, high altitude. The usable runway lengths at Suvarnabhumi are 3700 & 4000 metres, and the new 02L/20R will also be 4000m, this is ample for even the absolute worst-case conditions, plus a safety margin on top of that. 5:55 The length of your take-off run was not a factor of your B777's ability to get airborne, but rather an acceleration rate based upon a derated thrust calculation used to reduce engine wear & noise. You actually lifted off RW19L after using 2000 of its 3700 metre lenght (adjacent high-speed exit E12 6:35). Enjoy your time back home. Merry Christmas.

I think all the airlines are getting stricter with baggage, and see it as a way of generating cash We were well under the limit. Thanks for watching

Nice to see they've changed from the 787 they used last year when I flew. The 777 is much better IMO. food on THAI always seems to be pretty decent, but looks like it got better for your flight! :). seems odd to have the meal service 7 hours into the flight. My last 2 flights have been with EVA and I don't think they serve 2nd service until a bit later. I might be getting confused though!.

Hi, I don't want to get into any anti-vacs issues, as some people have such strong opinions. Leaving that aside. I am up to date with tetanus, hepatitis, and typhoid I hope that helps

I have known for some time, and there is one for entry into the country at passport control. That's if they haven't changed it with their recent refit. Just look out for the signs, it is written on there. Good luck and thanks for watching
